2 Introduction P2Insight is a relatively new company of Maximo veterans Although we know Maximo really well, we are not all things Maximo We focus on one thing: Improving the Procurement Process for Items and Services Using Maximo, whether through Purchase Orders or through Work Orders. We optimize the entire Procurement Process: communication, negotiation, updates, revisions, expediting, notifications, payments. From beginning to end. P2P Procure to Pay

5 Why the Procurement Process? but many Maximo customers are procuring goods and services in mostly the same way that they did a couple decades ago

6 How are you using Maximo? Does your organization use Maximo Purchasing? Is your storeroom decreasing in size and volume, because you are buying more parts directly from Vendors, more frequently and on demand, when you need them? Are you purchasing more things, more frequently? Does your organization use Contractors? Is the use of Contractors increasing? Is the volume of work by Contractors increasing? If yes, are your tools getting better to help you handle all this extra volume?

8 How are you using Maximo? Do you ever send the Order to the Vendor/Contractor, and then wonder if they received it, are acting on it, will deliver? How do you resolve this? Do you ever get the price wrong, and have to correct the PO? How is this communicated to you? Do you ever approve with Vendor, but forget to update PO? Does the invoice ever come with a price that is different than the price on the PO? Does this take a long time to resolve?

10 Why do we focus on the Procurement Process? There was hope for a major change when IBM acquired OCI, the on-line catalog, but plans to offer it alongside Maximo were shut down in 2009 Maximo customers in general have incorporated a few changes. More customers using Workflow for Automated Approvals More using Notifications Moved from Printing POs, to Manual Faxing, then to Automated Faxing, and now mostly . But, for many that is extent of procurement changes!

The Order Hub transmits your order and facilitates the external purchase process with your vendor. With The Order Hub, you and your vendors are integrated. Your supply chain is integrated. Let the vendor do the data entry changes and updates! You approve them.

14 Fully Integrated with Maximo A Stand-Alone application on the web that is fully integrated with Maximo. You can use it on its own, or with Maximo. Designed to work with any system. If you ever switch to a different Procurement system, we can integrate it to your chosen system. Your investment it protected. You continue to use Maximo, as you always have, with a few minor adjustments. We extract the PO, RFQ, Price Contracts, or WO and publish it on the Hub, and notify the vendor that there is a new request for them
