As from 2002, Dr. Giuseppe Palmieri joined Boehringer Ingelheim Italia S.p.A, where he has held executive positions in the area of compliance management (e.g. Compliance Program under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, Drug Code, Farmindustria Code, EPFIA Code), working as Chairman of Supervisory Body, as from 2007 he covered new responsibility as the Head of Risk & Compliance Management. Since 2010 to 2016 he has also been in charge of Internal Audit. From 2002 to 2016 he has been responsible for laying down and implementing the Compliance Program at Boehringer Ingelheim Italia S.p.A., coordinating Compliance Committee and reporting to the local BoD, in order to ensure adequate monitoring of the Internal Control System and continuous updating of the Risk Assessment & Management process.
