HYDRA Time & Attendance Personnel Time Management MES Products Integrated time recording and payroll instead of punch cards! The MES Experts!

MOTIVATION Goodbye to time clock and endless paperwork! Employees are given an increasing priority in today s business processes. Therefore, personnel resources must be scheduled and evaluated flexibly according to the current workload. Changeable working concepts based on year or working life models and complex wage systems are responsible that common aids like punch cards and manual evaluations cannot cope with today s challenges anymore. Now, electronic information on employees (HR self-service) and paperless workflows (e. g. holiday request) are a fixed part of the daily production routine. HYDRA supports the implementation of working time agreements and different remuneration or organization types. HYDRA s Time & Attendance (PZE) is used in simple subsystems for data collection. When dealing with complex time management systems HYDRA Personnel Time Management (PZW) is the right choice.

Reliable data base To HYDRA PZE it makes no difference if you process the collected data within the system or if the data is transferred to a superior payroll system. Focus is on a simple and reliable time recording: Dedicated shop floor terminals with configurable GUI to collect clock-in and clock-out Support for a broad range of readers (e. g. barcode, LEGIC, MIFARE, HITAG) Record of break and absence (e. g. business trip, doctor s appointment) Post-recording and functions to correct missing and incorrect entries Possible combination of acquisition devices and applications for shop floor data and access control TIME RECORDING

FLEXIBILITY Master complexities in personnel time management If recorded times are directly processed in HYDRA, the MES can cope with all sorts of contractual requirements to a just and efficient payroll system. Relevant functions and features are: Day, week and year models to enable flexible working hours and shift operation as well as mapping of salary agreements and contractual rules Deviating models for individual working hours Collection of absence (e. g. vacation, illness, training) Approval of vacation, overtime or bonuses based on a paperless application with integrated workflow Calculation rules for flexible working hours (e. g. week, year or work life model) Rules to automatically repost wage types Calculation of overtime, flexible working hours and leave accounts Interfaces to payroll systems like SAP HR, PAISY, Lohn XL/XXL P & I, SAGE KHK, DATEV, Hansalog, VARIAL Transfer, creation and maintenance of HR master data Display of personal messages at PZE terminals Extended personnel data to create a personnel information system (digital personnel file) Extensive and secure user and authorization concept

Payment model Working time model HR master Shift workers Flextime employees Payment model Working time model Shift rhythm model Payment day type Working time day type Shift type Interaction with other MES applications In terms of an integrated Manufacturing Execution System (MES) the utilization of data from HYDRA PZE and PZW within the scope of other MES applications brings many benefits: Shared use of HR master data in different MES applications Simultaneous exit from running operations (shop floor data, BDE) when clocking out Plausibility checks of order postings by comparing data from PZE clock-ins Combination of access control and PZE Calculation of KPIs (e. g. staff productivity for premium and incentive wages) Authorization concept for quality inspection and other critical tasks based on HR master data Utilization of collected and planned working times for personnel scheduling Shared use of qualifications in PZW and personnel scheduling INTEGRATION

TRANSPARENCY Reports and statistics for personnel time management To improve planning and evaluations of available personnel resources, HYDRA PZW offers numerous reports, overviews and diagrams: Overviews of attendance and absence Overviews on the current status of time accounts Daily, monthly or annual evaluations for time accounts and salary types Display of personal time accounts (e. g. remaining leave, overtime, flextime) at terminals, PCs or online Shift and personnel schedules Freely definable evaluations, trends, print lists and reports Birthday and anniversary lists Absence overview Clock-in lists and archives Configurable time sheets and archives

Support for mobile devices Mobile HYDRA applications for PZE and PZW offer useful functions for employees and managers. Relevant examples are: Rapid search for a contact person with the option to connect directly (e. g. per or phone call) Clock-in and clock-out using smartphones (e. g. during business trips) Information on current time accounts including post-recording and corrections Mobile time sheets Application and approval of absence times using tablet PCs or the intranet Mobile shift planning MOBILITY

Needs-based, tailor-made MES applications Every MES solution is as individual as the company using it. An MES must be of a modular design and largely configurable in order to turn field-tested standard functions into tailor-made solutions. Extensive requirements covering all business sectors and levels must be considered: From user-friendly collection and information functions for operators to reliable statistics for the management. The examples for HYDRA PZE/PZW applications illus trated in this brochure are a combination of standard MES products by MPDV. These products, characterizing a state-of-the-art MES, can be selected needs-based and integrated without interfaces: Shop Floor Integration Services: Interfaces to machines and production lines plus data collection and information functions for operators MES Applications: Powerful programs to process data and functions for data maintenance, detailed planning, monitoring and controlling Smart MES Applications: For usage on mobile devices and in web browsers MES-Cockpit Applications: Dashboards for general KPIs Enterprise Integration Services: Basic functions and interfaces to seamlessly integrate the MES into an existing IT landscape info@mpdv.com MPDV worldwide: Mosbach Hamburg Hamm Heidelberg Munich Stuttgart Winterthur / CH Chicago / USA Shanghai / PRC Singapore / SGP The MES Experts! 2017 MPDV Mikrolab GmbH Doku Ident: PRPZE-PZW_EN 06/2017.
