3 policy violations early and results in increased first time approvals and turnaround time Due to Integrated T&E, we are matching any local relocation expense to the original itinerary and leverages the relocation date, itenary and sub policies (In transit vs New location) to capture violations upfront e.g going above 14 days of car rental during a relocation relocation claims reports o VAT Reclaim never did It before, with Concur we will benefit from Reclaiming VAT using Concur s plug and play VAT Administration module and saves money for all business expense VAT associates would have paid. Concur s timely update of VAT changes helps to meet all regulatory compliance for finance team. Bristol captures budgets for relocation. Once Bristol is integrated with Concur, now Bristol can compare actual spend on relocation expenses and can use the data for better contract and vendor negotiations which effectively helps Cognizant in saving costs. o We were only using Concur travel see a better cost model for us due to improved transaction costs due to integrated T&E solution from Concur Savings of 28% vs. current Cognizant cost of $3.12 for only Travel and 68% savings for Trizetto cost of $7.02 for Travel + Expense Employee Productivity It touches ALL employees How many of your employees file expense reports? Productivity is a big deal for service companies Mobile app (Offline capability also) spending my weekends with family Almost +25% of users started using mobile for various expense activities within 3 months of rollout wherein the best in class is +40% Automated expense report creation using the itinerary and receipt matching Simplified approvals due to receipts attached at a line item, also reduced loss of receipt using the receipt feature and storing in the receipt store Almost 30% reduction in receipt loss Due to e folio / e receipts, line items (especially hotel expenses) gets auto itemized which is a big productivity gain for users compared to peoplesoft (where users had to itemize manually) Today we use excel based pre trip approvals which is over s. We plan to implement request module which will integrate with travel and make our lives easier/forecasting expense budgets is more efficient Compliance and Simplicity of Management How do you know if you are complying with all local regulations, Foreign Corruption Act, taxation laws, duty of care responsibilities? How many external systems do you have to connect to and vet to create this value for your organization? What kind of ecosystem can you support with your current solution? What types of time savings could an organization expect? VAT compliance We have implemented the VAT Reclaim process using Concur inbuilt configuration of VAT rates, this helped us in being constantly compliant. We leverage Bristol for our NA global mobility (Vendor aggregator). We have their system now integrated into Concur on a real time web service model. Earlier the relocation tax calculations and reclaims were done annually by manual reconciliation process, but now the relocation tax calculation and reclaims done almost on a real time basis which helps reduce the reconciliation efforts towards the year end. Concur s receipt extraction helps us in consolidating all the receipts for the approved and processed expense reports and undergo internal and external audits successfully.
