2 Digital Insight Manager Working in the Digital Marketing team, this role will lead and drive digital insights from web analytics tools and manage a number of digital projects in conjunction with IS and Marketing departments. It will also be responsible for briefing and training our Member Services team in key digital projects prior to launch. The role reports into the Head of Digital Marketing. Key tasks: Gather digital data requirements from members of the Marketing team Coordinate and manage a program of reporting and insights using Webtrends, Google Analytics and other digital analytics tools Present insights to assist team members with marketing decision-making Work closely with Analysis team to contribute relevant digital insights to campaign analysis reporting Draft and manage project plans Research best practice digital customer journey to assist with project definition Draft digital project specifications for IS and obtain sign-off from relevant parties Coordinate projects and testing to completion Write training documents / deliver training sessions to Member Services Manage the photography process for new product launches Provide cover for Digital Marketing Manager, sending marketing s and making website content changes using the Content Management System Key skills: Applicants must be able to demonstrate: Website best practice and customer journey experience Experience of using any Web analytics package Project Management experience Analytical skills; the ability to draw actionable insights from data Being extremely well organised, able to influence and a good communicator

3 THE WINE SOCIETY JOB DESCRIPTION Job title: Digital Insight Manager Department: Marketing Responsible to: Head of Digital Marketing Responsible for: N/A Job purpose: Driving digital insight Lead & drive digital insights (from web analytics tools and competitor analysis) to support decision-making within Marketing. Specifically, to gather & maintain insight requirements from the Marketing team, run reports & analyse data, drawing insights to help with project definition & campaign decisions. The job holder will be responsible for compiling both regular and ad hoc reports & presenting insights on a periodic basis. They will work closely with the Analysis team to coordinate input for campaign analysis. Managing digital projects Manage a number of digital projects in conjunction with IS and Marketing departments. Responsibilities include management of photography process, research of best practice, drafting and management of project plans, drafting project specifications, testing of developments and coordination to completion. The job holder will also be responsible for briefing and training our Member Services team in key digital projects prior to launch. Providing cover for team members In case of holiday or absence of other team members, to provide cover for marketing, website content changes and other ad hoc work. 4 Main duties (cont d) Present insights to assist team members with marketing decision-making Work closely with Analysis team to contribute relevant digital insights to campaign analysis reporting Draft and manage project plans for assigned digital projects including responsibilities & deadlines Research best practice digital customer journey to assist with project definition Work with the IS team to agree project scope and draft project specifications, obtaining sign-off from relevant parties Coordinate projects and testing to completion Draft, agree and execute internal & external project launch communications plans Write training documents / deliver training sessions to Member Services Manage photography process for new product launches, including coordination of sample delivery to photographer, briefing & communications with photographer, return of samples to warehouse and uploading of images onto web servers Additional duties: Provide holiday / absence cover for Digital Marketing Manager (website content changes and design / send of marketing s) Provide holiday / absence cover for Head of Digital Marketing All staff have a responsibility for carrying out their work in a safe manner, reporting any incidents or problems to the Team Leader and taking all reasonable steps to minimise risk to both self and others.
