4 HYDRO SUPPLIES THE AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATIONS MARKETS WITH A WIDE RANGE OF CABLE PITS AND EXTENSION RISERS IN BOTH POLYMER CONCRETE AND HDPE TO SUIT ALL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS. Our HDPE electrical pits are manufactured from a UV stabilised high-density polyethylene plastic. This material is incredibly sturdy with a resistance to vigorous handling, temperature extremes and chemicals. When installed to guidelines and complemented by the appropriate cover, the unique design of these lightweight durable pits supports Class A B load requirements across a variety of applications. Our Polymer Concrete pits are manufactured from the same high quality non-corrosive Polymer Concrete as their drainage channel counterparts. Our Polymer Concrete pits are extremely durable (designed for loading A10 G900) with excellent dielectric properties, high mechanical strengths, chemical resistance and zero water absorption. Furthermore, our Polymer Concrete is up to 75% lighter than conventional concrete products. When installed to guidelines and complemented by the appropriate cover, the Polymer Concrete pits supports Class A G load requirements. All Hydro s pits and extension risers (whether HDPE or Polymer Concrete) and modular cableduct (Polymer Concrete only) can be combined with various covers to create a cost effective electrical /communications pit/duct solution for most projects. Typical applications include pedestrian areas, domestic driveways, schools, parks & sports fields, car parks, service stations, streetscapes & landscaped areas and pavements and walkways.
