3 B Applications Disclaimer: This section of the Designer is intended only by to represent good building practice. This section is not intended in any way by to represent all relevant information required on a project. It is the responsibility of those using, including but not limited to builders, designers, consultants and engineers, to verify that is suitable for use on a project. All diagram, plans and illustrations used in this section including any reinforcement shown are included for indicative and diagrammatic purposes only. It is the responsibility of those using to ensure that reference is made to the structural engineer s details for all diagrammatic and reinforcement requirements. B1 Building Type Applications is a permanent formwork for reinforced concrete walls. So wherever there is an application for reinforced concrete walls up to 250mm thick, is likely to be applicable. The particular application will be subject to engineering assessment. The best applications for are for building structures which utilise load bearing wall construction and call for high levels of fire and acoustic performance. For external applications, must be protected by an appropriate water proofing system. The applications outlined in this chapter, including all charts, are based upon LOGICWALL s most common applications in multi-residential medium rise buildings. B Applications Balustrades Blade Columns External Blade Walls External Facade Walls Internal Corridor Walls Internal Partition Walls Internal Party Walls Lift Shafts Retaining Walls Basement Walls * Service Shafts Stair Shafts * Alternatively Basement Walls can be constructed using REDIWALL, another product by. 13
