(BL) invite sealed tenders from the empanelled manufacturer or agency having ready stock for supply/sale of 1 (one) no. Office Cum Store Container generally conforming to the drawing no. BL/ROFS/CON/M/ Scope of Work The scope of work wills generally but not limited to the following and details are given in Annexure I & II. i) Supply of Office Cum Store Container including painting shall be supplied as per specification given Annexure I along with test reports wherever applicable. ii) iii) Fabrication, supply and fixing of the rack into the container. Module & rack shall have painting with two coats epoxy based anticorrosive primer & two coats of epoxy paint on inside & outside walls & bituminous paint at outside bottom plate of the module after surface preparation of Standard SA-2.1/ Validity of offer Bidders shall keep their offer valid for a period of 60 days from the due date of opening of bid. 3.0 Security Deposit Successful bidder has to submit an interest free Security 2.5% of the basic order value in demand draft favouring of `Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. payable at Kolkata, which will be released after completion of work and submission of Performance Bank Guarantee. 4.0 Guarantee The contractor shall guarantee the owner and their authorized representatives against defects in their workmanship for a period of 12 months. Any defect brought to the contractor s notice within the guarantee period shall be made good/ replaced/ changed promptly free of cost/ charge.

3 5.0 Delivery, Ex-Works The module shall have to be made ready in all respects within 2 (two) weeks from the date of receipt of LOI/PO whichever is earlier in line with the general layout drawing attached as Annexure II. The module will be uplifted by us after completion of entire system as per the scope of work. 6.0 Inspection & Testing BL reserves the right to inspect the module at contractor s works prior to dispatch and contractor shall provide all assistance in carrying out such inspection free of any charges. Internal inspection reports should be provided by the contractor at the time of intimation of date of inspection to BL. 7.0 Payment Terms (i) 100% of the basic order value along with all taxes and duties after completion of work as per approved drawing against submission of the following documents along with the invoice. : a) Material test certificates/manufacturer s guarantee certificate b) Inspection report (if any) (ii) Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) for 10% of the basic order value valid till end of guarantee period of 12 months. 8.0 Arbitration Any dispute or difference arising under this Contract shall be referred under jurisdiction of Kolkata to a sole arbitrator to be appointed by the Chairman & Managing Director, Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited and the provisions of Arbitration Act, 1996 including any statutory modifications or enactment thereof shall apply to the Arbitration proceedings. The fees of the arbitrator, if any, shall be paid equally by both the parties. The award shall be a speaking award stating reason therefor and is final & binding on the parties. The proceeding shall be conducted in English language and courts at Kolkata will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of this contract. 9.0 Tender Submission Bidders are required to submit their offers in this prescribed format duly filled in, stamped and signed in sealed envelope along with covering letter within the due date and time.

6 Scope of work Annexure I Shell Door Floor Insulation Cladding Accessories Partition Furniture Store racks Electrical The outer shell will be manufactured from HR Sheet of IS 1079 or equivalent and of welded construction. The components of various profiles shall be made out from 3.2 / 4.0 / 5.0 mm thickness. The side / end / roof panel will be vertically corrugated steel sheet of 1.6 / 2.0 mm thickness. The shell has Corner Casting at all eight corners to facilitate for easy handling. The shell will have a suitable steel structure internal frame, required for making insulation work with cladding sheet fixing in the office areas. The House shall have full open ISO type Main Door with standard door lock arrangement & Door Gasket at one end and other end shall have a standard bunkhouse Door (size 1980 mm X 900 mm) with door lock arrangement & inside latching. Office area flooring shall be used with 19 mm IS 303 Plywood and a 1.5 mm PVC floor mat shall be laid on the same. The store area shall have 19 mm IS 303 Plywood and 3.0 mm thick MS chequerred plate laid on the same. 50 mm thick glass wool insulation shall be made for the walls and PUF FOR the roof excluding bottom for the office area only. Inside of the office area paneling shall be made with marine grade plywood (6 mm thick for sidewalls and 4 mm thick for roof bonded) with 1.0 mm thick LP sheet. All panel joints are sealed with 1.6 / 2. 0 mm thick anodised Aluminium strips & angle with aluminium pull rivets. Office area shall have 2 nos. Aluminium Sliding window (size of 800 mm X 550 mm) with mosquito net & MS grill. MS partition structure shall be made with adequate support whose office side will have plywood cladding but the store side will be of MS plane sheet for resistance to shocks of materials. (7 office & 13 store). Wall shall have one opening on floor level (450 mm X 600 mm) up to office area suitable for pipe storage only. Two nos. Pipe structured wooden top table and one no. full size wooden Almirah and two nos. wooden filing cabinet above the table top. One side along the length angle structured rack (3 shelves) for material stores and other side having long pipe storage and beyond 2 height a one shelf rack shall be provided with adequate support. Necessary electrification shall be made for the following facilities through capping & casing only (standard for 20 House) 20 amps Input Socket placed outside of the container 2 no. roof / wall mounted Fan 4 nos.
