1 A New Municipal Building for Limerick Township DOCUMENT ADDENDUM NUMBER 01 December 9, 2016 Re: A New Municipal Building for Limerick Township From: Kelly Clough Bucher & Associates, Inc. 8 East Broad Street Hatfield, PA To: Prospective Bidders This Addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Bidding Documents dated December 1, 2016 as noted below. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. Failure to do so may subject the Bidder to disqualification. This Addendum document consists of three (3) pages and includes the following attachments: Sketches: SKP-001a, SKP-001b, SKP-001c CHANGES TO THE BIDDING REQUIREMENTS, CONTRACT FORMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT Document INVITATION TO BID Reference bid receipt date in first sentence; Change bid receipt date from 29 December 2016 to 5 January Document SUMMARY Delete paragraph 1.6.B. and its sub-paragraphs and replace with the following: B. Concurrent Work: 1. Owner will perform with their own forces the following construction operations at Project site. Those operations will be conducted simultaneously with work under this Contract. The Owner will conduct the following activities which are strictly 10 feet outside the building footprint area. a. Site earth work ten (10) feet outside the building footprint. (General Contractor will be responsible for all rough and fine grading within ten (10) feet of the building footprint) b. Storm drainage as shown on the site plans. c. Connection of roof drain leaders to underground storm system. d. Sanitary sewer line, manholes, and vents installation from five (5) feet outside of building footprint. e. 2 domestic water line from five (5) feet outside of meter pit to five (5) feet outside of the building footprint. f. 6 fire protection supply line from five (5) feet outside of meter pit to five (5) feet outside of the building footprint. g. Media conduit installation outside the proposed building (as shown on the site plan). h. Construction and paving of the front and rear parking lots. i. ADA parking as shown on the site plans. j. Rough and fine grading beyond 10 of the building footprint. k. Seeding and Landscaping. l. Road and parking lot signage. m. Concrete sidewalk (curb to be installed by General Contractor) Document MULTIPLE CONTRACT SUMMARY Reference Paragraph 1.7.A.; Delete sub-paragraphs 1.7.A(2)(3)(5) and (6). This work scope will be performed by the Owner. Add sub-paragraphs 1.7.A(26)(27) as follows: 26. Rough and fine grading within 10 feet of new building foundations. 27. Concrete curbs as shown on site plans (concrete walks by Owner). Provide fire alarm monitoring relay to confirm unit shutdown Drawing E2.1 FIRST FLOOR PLAN - LIGHTING Provide display case lighting in the Corridor between the Public Meeting Room and Public Restrooms. Lights shall be 5 continuous runs across each shelf. Install lights such that they are hidden from view behind the case header while providing illumination to the case. See Detail 2 on Drawing A8.7. There are three cases requiring (3) 5 lights. Provide Ecosense SCIS CL with mounting brackets and frosted lens Drawing E2.1 FIRST FLOOR PLAN - LIGHTING Provide a junction box and power for each fire/smoke damper. Provide a 20A, 1P circuit from panel LS1 to the fire/smoke dampers. Contractor can wire up to (10) fire/smoke dampers on a circuit. Provide fire alarm monitoring relay to confirm unit shutdown Drawing E3.0 BASEMENT PLAN - POWER Provide power to the new Simplex Foundation Pump as illustrated on SKP-001a. Provide a 20A, 1P breaker fed from Panel EQP1 with (2)#12, (1)#12G in 3/4 conduit to the control panel (control panel provided by Plumbing Contractor) and to the Pump Drawing E5.0 DETAILS AND DIAGRAMS - ELECTRICAL Elevator is 25hp. The installing contractor shall provide a 2 discharge ball valve and 2 pump check valve Simplex Control Panel Provide and install One (1) Penn Pump Co. Simplex NEMA 4X pump control panel with high level alarm, remote alarm contacts and three (3) float switches with stainless steel mounting bracket. Fiberglass Pump Basin-Optional The basin shall be fiberglass size 24 diameter by 60 deep with a ¼ steel vapor tight epoxy coated simplex steel cover plate. Coordination The pumping system manufacturer shall provide all of the system components to insure proper pump system performance. The plumbing contractor is responsible for proper installation and operation. Provide one half day of factory start up services with written start up report. REVISION NOTES: 1.
