Upon moving to California his vision was to establish a construction company built on integrity and quality. In the early 90 s California was hit by waves of massive El Nino storms, resulting in may slope failures and landslides. Being on the sides of steep hills didn t scare Marty, so Hillside began working on slope repairs and landslide restoration. Included in these projects were retaining walls that needed to be designed and installed. The construction industry was in need of a company that could build with quality and integrity. In 1995 Hillside was born. Since our beginning we can proudly say we have not had a single wall failure! 2 3

6 Unmatched Design Flexibility Old World Charm Keystone Country Manor offers the appearance and craftsmanship of hand laid stone with the advantages of segmental wall construction and design. This product allows for use as retaining walls, freestanding border walls, planters, stairs or impressive entrance monuments. Keystone Verazzo Stone 4-face delivers design versatility and rugged good looks to your project. Each unit incorporates a large and small side; some of the smaller side s faces utilize a faux joint. As a result, this single unit is able to easily achieve the appearance of a multiple piece system. Pallets include a mixture of the units with, and without, the faux joint to simplify the installation process. Keystone Verazzo Stone was developed to handle both retaining and freestanding wall applications and, with its angled sides and different face lengths, builds tight fitting straight line walls.
