3 Opening Remarks Overall Project Purpose and Need Improve the roadway network within a historically underserved, economically depressed area in the City of Cleveland

4 Opening Remarks Project Goals Deliver the Project at or below budget. Deliver a positive economic impact to the community through Diversity and Inclusion efforts. Maximize team diversity (quantity and type) for project specific goals by the inclusion of the percent and number of available firms utilized on the project. Maximize quality, meeting or exceeding applicable standards in all areas.

5 Opening Remarks Project Goals Continued Minimize duration of traffic impacts and open Opportunity Corridor Boulevard no later than November 1, Meet or exceed aesthetics and sustainability guidelines. Deliver the Project with zero lost-time incidents. Demolish existing residential and commercial structures as soon as possible.

OC Boulevard under NS mainline (3 phase track location) 4. Remove existing Grand Avenue under NS mainline 5. Sewer bore under NS Nickelplate line 6. OC Pedestrian bridge over NS and GCRTA at E. 89 th Street

13 Project Overview Scope (Utilities) New storm sewer (including retention basin, junction chamber, bored sewer under railroad) Reconfigure CPP power distribution system New water mains (transmission and distribution) New/relocated sanitary sewers (including regulator relocation) Coordination with private utilities

14 Project Overview Scope (Environmental) Obtain all permits and pay associated fees 401 and 404 permits not anticipated DBT prepares SWPPP; ODOT prepares NOI No tree removal from April 1 to September 30 due to Indiana Bat & Northern Long-Eared Bat ODOT will perform asbestos surveys for bridge removals Phase II ESA reports under development for 34 sites

15 Project Overview Scope (Diversity & Inclusion) New, Small, Local, and EDGE Business Development Outreach OJT NEW: Established within 5 years or never worked on an ODOT project SMALL: On SBE list or meet requirements defined in RFQ LOCAL: Have a physical office in Cuyahoga County or Lorain County since August 1, 2014 EDGE: Certified EDGE (Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity) business

16 Project Overview Scope (Other) Right of Way ODOT is acquiring properties Availability table will be provided Building Demolition 12 structures (mostly commercial) ODOT in the process of acquiring properties and structures Most residential structures are being demolished under OC2 project (PID 98695)

The Design Build Team must list relevant prequalification categories for Consultant and Sub-Consultants to show that the prequalification requirements listed are satisfied.
