MINER ADDENDUM No. 2 HVAC System Replacement Carver Elementary School Newport News, Virginia IFB # LC MJT #14114 Except as may be otherwise described, bidding requirements, materials, and workmanship for the work described herein shall conform to all requirements of the original Contract Documents, Project Manual dated February 19, 2016 and Drawings dated February 19, 2016 The following Addendum to the specifications and drawings are made a part of the project and take precedence over the section of the specifications, in part, as originally written and over the drawings, in part, as originally drawn and/or written. Each Bidder is responsible for obtaining all addenda and shall acknowledge receipt of all addenda in the space provided on the Bid Form or by returning a copy of each signed addendum. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid. All addenda issued shall become part of the IFB and any resulting contract documents. CHANGES TO THE BID FORM: REPLACE: Bid form with attached Bid Form. CHANGES TO THE DRAWINGS: DRAWING M0.01: REVISE deductive alternate no. 2 to read as follows: Deductive Alternate No. 2: Condenser water piping 4 and smaller (outside mechanical room) shall be Aquatherm piping in lieu of Type L copper with soldered fittings and condenser water piping above 4 and inside the mechanical room shall be schedule 40 black steel grooved piping in lieu of welded steel piping. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Question 1: Please provide photos of kitchen cooking equipment located under the existing kitchen hood? Answer: Photos are included as an attachment.

7 Attachment A IFB LC Carver Elementary School HVAC System Replacement BID RESPONSE FORM In compliance with solicitation dated February 23, 2016 the undersigned proposes to furnish all labor equipment and materials and perform all work in strict accordance with all requirements for: Carver Elementary School HVAC System Replacement The above scope of work to be performed at the dollar amount(s) stated herein. The undersigned agrees and assures that:. All prices stated herein shall be firm for a period of calendar days. (90 days minimum). If bidder's response is accepted and a purchase order issued, bidder will accept same and fulfill requirements in strict compliance with all terms and conditions.. If in acceptance of bidder's response, bidder is required to furnish a payment bond and a performance bond; and/or a certificate of insurance, bidder will execute and furnish same within five (5) calendar days of such notice, and that failure to do so will mean forfeiture of any surety bidder may have been required to post as part of bidder's response..
