4 KEMPEROL WATERPROOFING offers many advantages over other flat roof waterproofing systems, with dedicated products available for specific applications an alternative to the many 'one size fits all' solutions that inevitably compromise performance, durability or effectiveness. Suitable for both new construction and refurbishment, all are cold liquid-applied using a reinforced polyester fleece and come as one-, two- or three-component systems, including a solvent-free option. Applied wet-on-wet, there is no need to allow drying time between coats as with many other systems. This reduces labour costs, speeds application times and improves inter-coat adhesion, giving a seamless membrane with greater integrity. When fully saturated with resin, the reinforcing fleece changes colour, providing a clear visual indication that the correct membrane thickness has been achieved. This foolproof method is simpler and more reliable than using thickness gauges or electronic testing, as necessary with wet on dry systems. Applications Versatile is suited to a wide range of applications. We always recommend the most effective build-up following consultation at the design stage. It is typically used for flat roof waterproofing, and may be applied over existing materials without the need for re-roofing. 5 Resin Polyester Reinforcing Fleece Prepared Substrate KEMPEROL V210 A 3-component, polyester-based system that forms a permanently elastic, seamless yet highly permeable membrane. Extremely durable and tear resistant, it can accommodate structural details and penetrations without the need for additional mechanical fixings. Balcony Roof Terrace Resin KEMPEROL BR The preferred solution for car park decks, a 3-component system offering seamless protection for the entire substrate, including expansion joints. It can be covered with mastic asphalt or surfacing products. Car park decks Primer KEMPEROL 2K-PUR A solvent-free and odourless, 2-component, polyurethane-based product, it is ideal for use on sensitive occupied buildings, such as schools, hospitals or food factories. This system can be applied without evacuation or the need to shut down air conditioning plant. Balcony Roof Terrace KEMPEROL 1K-PUR A single-pack, polyurethane-based system that can be easily applied onto the polyester fleece straight from the can without mixing - ideal for long-term repair and waterproofing of awkward roof details and penetrations. 6 KEMPEROL SURFACING There are occasions where a surface that does not need waterproofing may still require protection typically this includes walkways, balconies, decks or platforms. In addition, roofs or surfaces that have been waterproofed but are subject to vehicular or pedestrian traffic may also need a surface treatment for improved function and durability or for decorative effect. coloured surfacing allows trafficked areas to be colour-coded for functional, aesthetic or safety purposes. The surfacing range includes hard-wearing and slip-resistant textures in a choice of colours, suitable for both new construction or refurbishment. Designed for most outdoor applications, it can be used as a waterproofing surface (with fleece reinforcement) or as a high-build finish coating. AC microchips can be applied with the topcoat for decorative effect.
