2 Product Overview Maxima is a robust, versatile large-panel 80kN/m² wall formwork system, with column and stripping corner add-ons providing unrivalled flexibility. Faster Maxima uses a single multi-clamp for most panel to panel connections however timber Infills of up to 150mm can be accommodated with the adjustable clamp. Easier With a choice of 7 standard panel widths in 3 different heights plus fixed and hinged corner units virtually any wall formwork application can be accommodated with standard components. Quick and straightforward to erect formwork to any height and length, offering significant savings in time and skilled labour costs. Holes in both panel edges give the option of connecting panels together with bolts to suit non standard applications. When stacking panels vertically, Maxima's panel alignment clamp dramatically reduces the amount of accessories required to stiffen the horizontal joint for crane handling purposes. Slotted connection points every 150mm provide flexible fixing points for accessories, such as access brackets for safe working platforms and extendable push pull alignment props. Safer The Maxima crane hook attaches simply to panel edge members for safe and efficient crane handling. All panel corners are recessed to accept a crow bar for fine adjustment into position. To reduce the number of loose parts on site, the Maxima tie plates have captive wing nuts yet they still permit tying formwork at angles up to 8 degrees. 1

Galvanised panel frames All frames are hot dipped galvanised to ensure long life use of the panel without rusting. 15mm or 20mm combination tie plates with captive wing nuts Allows an 8 degree inclination of the form face. Efficient number of connecting parts Makes the system quick and versatile to assemble. 5 Features & Benefits Columns Unrivalled concrete pressures Maxima columns allow unrivalled concrete pressure of 166kN/m². A hoop ladder system is also available to provide safe access and options are available to line forms with plywood to improve surface finish. No need for through ties Maxima columns up to 750mm x 750mm and 3300mm high can be constructed using single panels, removing the requirement for through ties. Pour heights above 3300mm are easily achieved by joining panels together with clamps. Unlimited size Practically no limit to column height and plan size - suitable for a wide range of projects. Easy handling and transportation Components fold and stack with no loose parts when moving. Safety designed in Robust working platform with integral guardrails and self closing gate. 7 In Detail Wall Formwork Durability Conical tie holes Maxima panels are constructed from high yield galvanised steel and a choice of either high quality phenolic coated plywood or synthetic form face for durability, low maintenance and a high quality concrete finish. Conical tie holes within the panels permit form faces to be inclined by up to 8 degrees and make it easier to pass tie rods through the wall and formwork. Adjustable props Fine adjustment Adjustable alignment props plumb and align the Maxima panels. The lower prop keeps the shutter tight against the kicker. Panel corners have the facility to engage a crow bar for fine adjustment into position. Flexible fixing points Connection Connection points every 150mm provide flexible fixing points for accessories, such as access brackets for safe working platforms and extendable push pull alignment props. Holes in both panel edges give the option of connecting panels together with bolts. 6

8 In Detail Wall Formwork Handling A range of panel sizes For safe and efficient crane handling the Maxima crane hook attaches simply to panel edge members. With a choice of 25 basic panel sizes, from 3.3 x 2.4m to just 0.6 x 0.3m, virtually any wall formwork can be assembled entirely from standard components, minimising on-site assembly time. Quick assembly Maxima eliminates on site panel pre-assembly, and uses a single multi-clamp for almost all connections, it is quick and straightforward to erect formwork to and height and length, offering significant savings in time and skilled labour costs. 7

9 In Detail Columns Working platform unit No loose parts Incorporates a folding guard rail and gate which allows safe working at height access for concreting and folds flat for easy transportation. The platform come complete with plastic covered chain rails to guard the open edge of the platform for added safety. Captivated wing nut and plate as well as column connector bolts mean a safer, more efficient system. Reusable corner fillet strips Alignment props Plumb and align the formwork panels. Connections are captive, erected column shutters are moved with the props attached. Attach easily to the panel reducing labour and material costs. Precision columns Incremental sizes of 25mm are possible. 8

10 In Detail Stripping Corners Saves time on site Generous clearance Core formwork can be easily struck, moved and repositioned without dismantling the form faces. Fully retracted will give 42mm clearance to all form faces and 14mm clearance at corners. Wide range of options Flexible accessories Available in four heights of 1200mm, 1500mm, 2700mm and 3300mm, all giving a 300mm vertical height increment. Innovative design speeds and facilitates smooth and even stripping all four corners are retracted simultaneously. Improved operator safety Improved operational safety Reduces work at height.
