The purpose of this letter is to provide you with the following pricing and information on a HP Briner Salt Dissolver as manufactured by Brine Systems, Inc. The size quoted within is as requested the 8' diameter vessel is the smallest standard unit are available. Model 6X115: This is not a standard and would be fabricated for Bob Johnson & Associates. The proposed system would be a 6' diameter x 11' - 6" high HP Briner Salt Dissolver System which would only handle approximately 10 ton total salt capacity. The FRP vessel has a nominal liquid capacity of 2,115 gallons, and capable of producing 10 to 12 gallons of brine per minute continuously. The base price for the 6' diameter x 11' - 6" high HP Briner Salt Dissolver is currently $17, Model 8X135: This is the smallest size offered for bulk pneumatic deliveries, it is an 8' diameter x 13' - 6" high HP Briner Salt Dissolver System which would only handle a maximum 16 ton salt delivery. The FRP vessel has a nominal liquid capacity of 4,512 gallons, a total salt capacity of 25 tons and a dry salt storage capacity of 16 tons and capable of producing 15 to 20 gallons of brine per minute continuously. The base price for the 8' diameter x 13' - 6" high HP Briner Salt Dissolver is currently $21, The attached specifications will provide you with a description of the vessel and operational components. The system is 100% complete and includes the stainless steel anchor plates and anchor studs. The HP Briner Salt Dissolver System also includes a full bottom drain, aluminum access ladder. Freight can range from $ to $2, depending on the size and where I would have the vessel built. The freight would be billed at cost and shown as a separate line item on the invoice. Brine Systems, Inc. offers the following optional equipment: Freeze Protection Package: The insulation package consists of two (2) Polyisocyanurate foam insulation applied in board stock 60" high on the vessel sidewall. The insulation covered with mil hard fiberglass skin to assure a liquid tight enclosure, then coated with a light gray gel coat containing U.V. inhibitor. Under the insulation will be two (2) 500 watt, 120 volt heat panels. A 0 to 150 F thermostat will be supplied for both the control and high limit temperature settings. The current pricing structure for this package is $5, Brine Transfer Pump - A 1" x 3/4", 1 HP centrifugal pump rated at 35 gallons per minute at 25' head, 3 phase, 60 cycle, TEFC, 230/460 volt constructed of Nickel Aluminum Bronze. Priced at $1, Gravel Filter Bed - A 12" depth of washed and graded filter media required on all systems using an evaporated, purified or table salt. The 6' or 8' diameter system is priced at $1, (Minimum purchase) High or Low Level Alarm: - Additional control relays and probes to indicate a low or high operating level on the HP Briner Salt Dissolver. BOX 200 UNION DALE, PENNSYLVANIA SPECIFICATION NO.: A97WJH-STD IDENTIFICATION The HP Briner Salt Dissolver as manufactured by Brine Systems, Inc., Union Dale, Pennsylvania A completely automatic, self-contained salt storage and salt dissolving unit for producing fully saturated brine from rock, solar or evaporated salt products. 2. EQUIPMENT FRP Vessel - The HP Briner is a flat bottom, closed-top design to be mounted on a flat concrete pad designed by Brine Systems, Inc. and furnished by the customer. The vessel as manufactured by Justin Tanks, LLC or equal shall be a filament wound FRP tank with FDA grade Aropol 7242 Isophthalic resin corrosion barrier reinforced with (1) ply C glass surface veil and chopped glass backup; and with FDA grade Aropol 7242 Isophthalic resin in the structural laminated designed and fabricated in accordance with ASTM - D A four layer construction consisting of 20 mil inner liner, 80 mil resin rich second layer, filament wound third layer, 20 mil fourth layer exterior resin rich with ultraviolet absorber, leaving the tank translucent. Tank suitable to withstand wind conditions up to 90 mph. Access Ladder and Safety Cage - OSHA approved, constructed of aluminum and includes all required tank and concrete mounting brackets and clips. Stainless Steel Hardware - Includes all stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers for assembly, along with the required gaskets for all pipe flanges and tank openings and blank flange for side bottom drain.

EQUIPMENT (continued) If an evaporated salt product such as Table Salt, Purified Salt or High Purity Evaporated salt as manufactured by Brine Systems, Inc. will be used in the HP Briner Salt Dissolver, then a Gravel Filter Bed as described below will be require. Gravel Filter Bed - A 12" washed and graded filter media consisting of three different layers of quartz rocks. (OPTIONAL, required for all HP Briner s using an evaporated, purified or table salt product.) Freeze Protection Package: - An optional item consisting of two (2) Polyisocyanurate foam insulation applied in board stock 60" high on the vessel sidewall. The insulation covered with mil hard fiberglass skin to assure a liquid tight enclosure, then coated with a light gray gel coat containing U.V. inhibitor. Under the insulation will be two (2) 500 watt, 120 volt heat panels. A 0 to 150 F thermostat will be supplied for both the control and high limit temperature settings. Both thermostats will be mounted and pre-wired so all the customer has to do is run the hot, neutral and ground to the system. Recommended for all outdoor systems installed in severe winter climates. 3. GENERAL The HP Briner Salt Dissolver is designed and used to manufacture saturated sodium chloride brine in textile operations, food applications, water softening systems, or for aquatic industries. All equipment shall be suitable for outdoor installation at the purchaser's plant. If the HP Briner Salt Dissolver is to be placed indoors, an optional dust collection system must be used. Brine Systems, Inc. offers a standard side mounted dust collector or a special wet scrubber style dust collector. Freeze protection should be considered when ambient air temperatures fall below freezing for an extended period of time. All equipment will be installed by purchaser's construction people; however, vendor is to minimize the number of required field connections. Equipment will be used for a 24 hour per day service and will be removed from service only for normal maintenance, cleaning and inspection. The unit is to be designed for use with rock, solar or evaporated salt. Based on size of the tank and type of salt, equipment package shall be capable of producing 20 to 35 gallons per minute of saturated brine flow under normal operating condition. 16 THE HP BRINER PURCHASER'S RESPONSIBILITIES The HP Briner Salt Dissolver consists of a fiberglass vessel and the required operational components which ship separately. It is the purchaser s responsibility to provide the following: Installation of a concrete support pad and pneumatic delivery support column as shown on Drawing HP-7503 Offloading and erection of the fiberglass vessel from the flat bedded trailer to the concrete support pad. Installation of operational components and parts into the fiberglass vessel. Component installation estimated at no more than three man day s time. Fresh water piping from the plant to the HP Briner Salt Dissolver. Brine supply piping to storage tank or brine use points. Electrical wiring run and hookup to liquid level control relay and 1" Solenoid valve. (115 Volt / 60 Cycle). All HP Briner s are furnished with four (4) customer specific equipment manuals for operation, maintenance, clean-out, liquid level testing and installation instructions.

(BJA) is pleased to provide you with this quotation for the above referenced project. We have reviewed the information submitted and have based this Proposal on that information. All equipment/components are to be skid mounted on carbon-steel, powder-coated, frames, pre-piped and prewired unless listed otherwise.
