2 ABOUT US O'Brien Timber Products Ltd. was established in the mid 1980's and is located near Mountbellew, Co.Galway. We are a family run business committed to supplying our customers with quality products and efficient service. Our factory was purpose built for the manufacture of garden buildings and fencing. Our products are made by trained craftsmen using quality materials. Your shed is delivered to your site and installed by our experienced shed fitters. SPECIFICATIONS (long life, low maintenance) is used on the framework and exterior of all sheds. Do not confuse pressure treated with pre treated or exterior treatment. Pressure Treated timber will last far longer than timber treated by other methods. 15 Year Anti Rot Guarantee. This treatment can be certified by our suppliers. EXTERIOR TIMBER RUSTIC ECONOMY / PREMIUM: Pressure Treated Weatherboard - 125mm x 10mm smooth sawn boards (not planed). CLASSIC: Pressure Treated Planed Rebated Weatherboard - Shiplap, (imported from Scandanavia / Northern Europe) 18mm finished thickness approx. LOG: Pressure Treated Rebated Weatherboard - Log Profile, (imported from Scandanavia / Northern Europe) 20mm finished thickness approx. OSB 3 (Oriented Strand Board) is used on floor and roof. This product is used extensively by the construction industry and is certified by Irish Board of Agrement. Torch Felt is a durable roofing material which is heated and stuck on to the roof and is more resistant to storm damage. Torch felt is standard on shed sizes over 12 x 8 and is much longer lasting than mineral felt. Mineral Felt is a moderately durable roofing material that is nailed on to roof. Polyester Based. Walls lined with breathable membrane are standard on shed sizes over 12 x 8. Single Door on Gable (approx. 28 wide) standard. Window Panes: 24 x 24 / 24 x 18 Toughened Glass and 24 x 14 Perspex. Galvanised Tee Hinges and Padbolt. Hot Dipped Galvanised Nails are used on the exterior. Sidewalls 1.8m high (6 approx.) on all Rustic, Classic and Log sheds. Sidewall height on Economy Rustic range of sheds is 5 6 approx. SITE PREPARATION Plan for base preparation will be forwarded after placement of order or if required the base can be prepared by our erectors using an alternative method. Ring for details of number of blocks required and cost. It is the customer s responsibility to have a level site with adequate access. SHED MAINTENANCE Pressure treatment will prevent decay due to dampness but will not prevent damage such as warping and splitting by the sun. We recommend the exterior be treated with a suitable wood preserver or varnish as soon as possible after installation. Classic & Log e.g. Varnish, Quick Drying Woodstain, Surfapore. Rustic Waterbased Wood Preservative. e.g. Cuprinol Timbercare, Ronseal Fence Life. Joints may need to be resealed at some stage. Terms and Conditions Goods will remain the property of O'Brien Timber Products Ltd. until paid for in full. Minimum 10% deposit payable with order [Non Refundable]. Balance payable immediately on delivery. Site / Base for shed must be prepared by customer as per our specification - diagram and instructions supplied. Additional fee will be charged to rectify base if not prepared to specification or alternatively shed to be stored by customer and a call back fee will apply. Adequate access required - check if not sure. Delivery and erection same day only. Our Erectors will carry shed maximum of 30 metres. If unable to accept delivery on previously agreed date, we must be notified before 10am on the day before delivery or by 10am on Friday for Monday delivery. Timber is a natural product which can be affected by changing weather conditions resulting in warping, splitting, small knots falling out, etc. The manufacturer is not responsible for this. Re: Fencing deliveries kerbside or nearest truck access point.
