15 SUSTAINABILITY For sustainability these units need to get Government accreditation for undertaking Construction projects of Government. Instead of remaining as individual units they need to form as a consortium for undertaking big projects. They need to identify and adapt to latest low cost construction activities. They need to get agency license/ franchisee for purchasing raw materials in bulk quantity, for getting in less rate. Should have enough working capital/ reserve for running the business. The preconditions required for scaling up the best practice in other state 1. Identify best people ( conduct Screening process ) 2. Provide best training through accredited training agencies 3. Handholding support for minimum 1 year. 4. Convergence with other departments, and private builders 5. Provide Government accreditation for undertaking construction projects. 15
