Ridgisewer is manufactured in high strength polypropylene, offering stiffness well in excess of other plastic products combined with exceptional durability. The unit is supplied pre-assembled with a 160mm outlet suitable to take 150mm Polysewer and EN1401 pipe. A 177mm diameter hole drilled in the pipe is required to fit the saddle. The adaptor is available in 3 sizes to suit diameters from 300 to 600mm. Polysewer is manufactured in accordance with BSI Kitemark Licence Number KM55698 to WIS , entitled Specification for Thermoplastic Structured Wall Pipes, Joints and Couplers with a Smooth Bore for Gravity Sewers for the Size Range 150 to 900 Inclusive. AN INTRODUCTION TO WIS R WIS is the UK specification for thermoplastic structured wall pipes for gravity sewer applications. To date Ridgidrain pipes have been installed on thousands of civil engineering projects including highways, railways, airports, industrial infrastructure, environmental and leisure projects as a direct alternative to concrete and clayware pipes. One piece units can be supplied complete with step irons to BS1247 and can be benched with concrete in the traditional way. Catchpits and manholes can be supplied with integral base or plain ended. A range of catchpits are manufactured for railway track and highway filter drainage. Following the outstanding track record of conventional Ridgidrain pipe and fittings, we have made a substantial capital investment in a state of the art fabrications facility. COMTITE DUCT TRANSIT SYSTEM R The mechanical duct plug is designed for use on motorway communication installations where there is the requirement for a sealed transit system. The duct plug is used in conjunction with a range of insertable cable grommets from 9 to 27mm diameter, allowing the duct plug to seal around the cables when it is expanded in the duct. The duct plug comes with an integral valve, that is used to perform an air test. Available to suit both 94 and 100mm duct ranges. 10 DUCTED ACCESS SYSTEMS R Polypipe Civils is the UK s largest manufacturer of underground ducting systems and the comprehensive range of access and pole boxes, covers, frames and accessories completes the range. The system includes a range of 5 access boxes, each available in single, double or triple height units. 4 pole boxes are offered, with two sizes of access chamber each available with integral pole housings for 114 and 140mm signal and street lighting poles. The horizontal on-floor system is ideal for use with existing main air tunnels. Polydry vertical systems consist of a base plate (up to 300mm), perforated body section, reducing cone and extension pipe. Polydry is a high performance alternative to traditional systems.
