MET (MCA: ) DATE July 20, 2018 Please see below items pertaining to the Mechanical & Plumbing Issued for Tender drawing package for the planned renovations at Westwood Towers. These items shall be considered as a (Change, Addition, Deletion, or Clarification) to the tender documents and shall form part of the tender. 1.0 Reference: M-102 New Piping Schematic.1 Change.1 The makeup water entry point (to right of Caleffi hydraulic separator on drawing) is to be changed from the return header to the supply header. 2.0 Reference: M-103 Existing & New Boiler Room Layout.1 Clarification.1 Clarifying Demolition Note 4 REMOVE ENTIRE BREECHING AND CHIMNEY MATERIAL RELATED TO THE BOILERS : Does not refer to removal of the brick chimney; the brick chimney is to remain..2 Change.1 The makeup water entry point (on Detail 2, above hydraulic separator) is to be changed from the return header to the supply header. 3.0 Reference: M-104 Natural Gas Elevation & Schematic.1 Addition/clarification.1 Under Detail 2 Natural Gas Elevation View ; an additional note is added to clarify the note regarding removal/sealing of louvre opening that states: THE LOUVERED OPENING IS TO BE REMOVED AND RELOCATED TO AN ACCEPTABLE LOCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH B NEW LOCATION TO BE VERIFIED WITH PROJECT MANAGER..2 Change.1 Under Detail 1 Natural Gas Schematic (bottom of drawing); this detail number and title is changed to: DETAIL 3 NATURAL GAS PIPING SCHEMATIC.

6 ADDENDUM 03 PROJECT HVAC Services Upgrade Westwood Towers DESCRIPTION Addendum - Mechanical PROJECT NO DATE July 16, 2018 MET Please see below items pertaining to the Mechanical & Plumbing Issued for Tender drawing package for the planned renovations at Westwood Towers. These items shall be considered as a (Change, Addition, Deletion, or Clarification) to the tender documents and shall form part of the tender. 1.0 Reference: General All Trades.1 Clarification.1 Space heat zone labels have been added to all relevant drawings (M-101, M-102, M-103, M-105) for reference: pumps P-1 and P-3 feed to the EAST WING and pumps P-2 and P- 4 feed to the WEST WING..2 Addition.1 Refer to Addendum item below, General Note added to state: 1. ALL CONTROLS WIRING BY CONTROLS CONTRACTOR. 2. LINE VOLTAGE WORK BY ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. 2.0 Reference: M-101 Existing & Demolition Piping Schematic.1 Change/Addition.1 Pump P-9 and piping to P-9 has been changed to be removed during demolition. Note to salvage P-9 and turn over to Project Manager..2 Clarification/Deletion.1 Extra hydro expansion tank on right-side of drawing has been removed to avoid confusion; only one expansion tank for demolition. 3.0 Reference: M-102 New Piping Schematic.1 Change:.1 Temperature Sensors (TS) after pumps P-1/P-3 and P-2/P-4, just before tie-in point, have been changed to Temperature Indicators (TI); corresponding with M Order of strainer and pump P-10 have been switched; flow to enter strainer and then pump..2 Addition:.1 Check valves have been added in line with pumps P-8 and P-9..2 Circuit balancing valves (CBVs) have been added after all boiler pumps P-5, P-6, and P-7, after check valves but before ball valves.

THE SEQUENCE AND SPECIFICATIONS MENTION THE CONTROLLER TO BE STAND-ALONE, IS IT INTENDED TO SEND AN ALARM THROUGH A WEB BASED SOFTWARE APPLICATION? SEND AN ALARM TO THE TOUCH-SCREEN THAT IS TO BE PROVIDED? The alarms shall be sent using a future internet connection (NIC). 3. On Drawing E100 and Panel Schedule indicates Panel M is to be replaced with a New Panel. Existing Panel M is a Lighting Panel in Front of the Electrical Room. The Panel that currently feeds the Equipment in the Boiler Room is Panel P2 which is in the approx. location as shown on the Drawing. Please confirm. Please see Addendum item 10.0 above. 4. Drawing E100 Detail 2 shows New Boilers to be Electrical connected to Panel P, Panel Schedule indicates Boilers to be connected to New Panel(M?). Please clarify. Please see Addendum item 10.0 above.

12 5. Will MRHA have the Fuel emptied from the Fuel Storage Tank prior to start of work? MRHA shall remove bulk of fuel from fuel storage tank prior to start of work; contractor is responsible to remove remaining fuel and residue, and remove tank. 6. If the Contractor is responsible to remove the Fuel Oil from the Tank can MRHA give a quantity of fuel oil to be disposed of for bidding purposes? Refer to previous question. END OF ADDENDUM 03
