2 SPECIAL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS 1. The elevation of the equipment room floor should be at least 18 below the static water level of the reservoir. 2. A sloped floor and 3 gravity floor drain or sump pump system must be provided in the equipment room as well as a 2 waste line for the pumped filter backwash discharge. 3. There should be forced air ventilation in the equipment room with a 300 CFM minimum vent fan. 4. Locate the wind speed sensor (CWS-075) in an area that is subject to the same wind conditions as the fountain and is beyond the reach of human interference. 5. Pipe runs shall be made as direct as possible using the minimum number of fittings. The pipe should slope to the pump for drainage and shall be free of traps or loops that could trap water or air. 6. If pipe slope to the pump is not possible, make provisions for complete draining of each pipe with an accessible valve at the lowest point. 7. There should be a minimum of a 2% slope for the gravity flow piping from the fountain drain fittings to the reservoir. 8. System design reflects the installation of the equipment vault/reservoir within 130 feet of piping distance from the discharge/drain fittings. 9. Fountain People will design all systems and equipment packages to conform to National Electrical Codes and to relevant Uniform Building Code requirements. We are not responsible for conformance to added or differing state or local codes unless we have been made aware of those specific requirements by the client or his agent prior to design development. PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE Fountain People shall guarantee the performance of the fountain design to produce the specified water effects provided all equipment is purchased and installed per our recommendations and all of the architectural details we provide are incorporated into the fountain installation. In the event that others have provided the system design or our recommendations are not utilized, guarantee shall be limited to the performance of the furnished equipment only. PRODUCT WARRANTY Fountain People shall warrant all properly installed and maintained equipment (except lamps) for a period of one year from date of original shipment. For systems with a factory start-up, the warranty shall extend 18 months from date of original shipment or one year from date of start-up, whichever comes first. Fountain People, at their option, shall replace or repair any materials, components, or workmanship found to be defective within the warranty period when returned to the factory, freight pre-paid. No component may be returned to Fountain People for repair or replacement without an approved return materials authorization. This warranty does not include damage resulting from lightning, vandalism, improper maintenance, chemical imbalance, operator error, or other conditions beyond the control of Fountain People, nor labor, freight charges, or incidental materials required to facilitate fountain repairs. Fountain People shall not be held liable for damage to other equipment or materials, loss of time, profits, or any inconvenience directly or indirectly resulting from the failure of equipment or materials furnished by Fountain People. This warranty may exclude damage to metals resulting from chemical control devices that use electrolysis as a means for generating chlorine or other chemicals to treat water. No other warranty, expressed or implied, including the warranties of merchantability exists beyond that included in this statement.

3 Design Concept: The visual effects for this water feature will consist of a dry deck type fountain with a centrally located Fountain-In-A-Can assembly containing a Geyser Nozzle that has an effect height up to 8 feet. Surrounding this effect will be (16) Fountain-In-A-Can assemblies each with a 1 Dominator Nozzle having effect heights up to 6 feet. The nozzles, as a complete group, will raise and lower via a variable frequency drive. The nozzles will be illuminated from below with RGB LED lights for night viewing. Notes: 1. For the LED lights there are (3) zones with up to 8 lights per zone. Each zone will be the same color as selected on the color wheel. The architect is to provide which lights are in each zone. See the plan view drawing P16375-GA01 for the light designators. 2. The outer perimeter trench, to include drain fittings, is to be provided by the installer. 3. The chemical controller is a BECSys5-OS1GP1LRBX with WIFI and Ethernet connectivity. The configuration and monitoring of system by others.
