2 KJM Engineering and Manufacturing Story A little over 21 years ago one man, with a big vision, one truck and one contract started a life changing journey for many. KJM Contractors was born and has grown from strength to strength, expanding with people and capability to become a diversified company supporting projects all over Australia. Hard yards in the early years were converted as KJM grew capability in the transport offerings of the business and then selectively added mobile accommodation, full servicing of camps, food and facilities, engineered and manufactured buildings and products such as sewerage and water treatment. KJM has managed to deliver a true one-stop shop providing niche, top-end products and services so clients can get what they need without having to manage multiple suppliers. Engineering and Manufacturing: KJM s unique business model allows us to manufacture a complete range of tried and tested engineering and fabricated products. This is achieved in our new state-of-the-art facility based at Edinburgh Parks, South Australia. KJM s purpose built engineering and manufacturing facility boasts the latest technology, which provides extensive capacity in the areas of processing, steel and timber fabrication including surface treatment. We have the capacity to have up to 250 workshop staff within our facility and we employ a diverse range of qualified tradesmen. KJM s range of products and services are all engineered, designed, tested, certified, and manufactured in-house. KJM adopts a collaborative approach to engineering and fabrication projects by encouraging client representation and participation on Project Management teams. This provides clients with in-depth information and detail as to the progress of their project as well as positive input into their project outcomes. Our skilled project managers take a pro-active attitude to each project. From opening discussions and the growth of conceptual plans, through assigning in-house trades and skilled sub-contractors. Our team of project managers strive for excellence in a safe and dynamic environment. They work closely with our skilled team of site supervisors who are fully prepared with the essential communication tools and safety training.

5 The Engineering and Manufacturing Breakdown Design & Drafting KJM s Head Office in Adelaide, SA houses a team of engineers and drafters who are highly proficient in using up-to-date 3D engineering software; such as AutoCAD, Inventor 3D, Space Gass, Limcon & Autodesk Inventor Professional. This type of in-house capability provides us with a unique and compelling advantage over our competitors and ensures accurate integration of information is translated to our workshop floor. By managing the entire design and engineering process in-house we are able to adequately control pr gram, costs and quality. With this in mind it enables us to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget. KJM Team We have the capacity to house up to 250 workshop staff within our facility. We employ many qualified tradesmen boilermakers, welders, CNC operators, painters, trade apprentices, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, cabinetmakers, mechanics and site crews. We also employ laborers, transport drivers and supervisory personnel. At our peak the KJM Group has employed over 500 people, which demonstrates our ability to manage and administer a large workforce. Surface Treatment Our in-house abrasive blast and paint workshop utilizes modern and up-to-date equipment to ensure quality finishing. The benefit of this capability means we can control traceability from fabrication to surface treatment and optimise the flow of product throughout the production cycle. Procurement Due to KJM s diverse product range and multiple divisions within our group; we have exceptional relationships and access to a large pool of suppliers. Our inventory / procurement team ensures we are protected from price fluctuations and its company policy, we negotiate best buy rates in the best interest of our customers and project delivery. KJM has global procurement options available if and when required and our international supply base is carefully selected and monitored to uphold our internal quality standards and processes.

KJM provides remote area logistics, equipment, services and support along with customised engineering solutions to the resource and construction sector. 7 Safety, Environment and Quality Occupational, Health & Safety KJM s primary focus is ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees, sub contractors, clients and visitors, as well as demonstrating social responsibility and being pro-active in providing the necessary training to eliminate dangers from our work place. We take OH&S seriously some of the important duties include employee inductions, detailed & rigorous risk assessments, communication & training, workshop and site safety initiatives. We constantly challenge standard practice in the pursuit of safety excellence and exhibit a zero tolerance to safety breaches. We have a robust internal OH&S management system compliant to AS/NZS4801 and we are registered with WorkCover in all relevant States. Environment Our strong environmental principles were demonstrated when designing and constructing our state-of-art facility at Edinburgh Parks, SA. There were many initiatives introduced to utilise technology and aid energy efficiency and this included installing a 495kW solar PV system; making it the largest privately owned rooftop system in Australia at the time of its completion in This system will not only maximise energy savings and reduce KJM s electricity consumption from the grid, it will also save 470 tonnes of carbon emissions each year. We have an environmental management plan compliant to ISO and we make every effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, recycling of materials, capturing of water from our facility for reuse, irrigation and truck wash.
