Units can be c o n figured as standalone facilities and placed wherever space allow s, or incorp o rated into existing facilities providing for rapid expansion without disrupting surrounding serv i c e s. Exterior wall system uses EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finish System) a proven exterior wall surface providing durability and a wide range of surface finish choices and configurations. Expansion modules are provided as complete finished units which attach to the Quantum core, expanding the treatment room to a full 20 x 25 6 * treatment area. The unique Ve ritas Bi-Pa rting Door System p r ovides 100% radiation protection with fast 6-8 second opening/closing speeds. Combined with included aesthetic interior enhancements, the door helps make the Quantum A True Center of Excellence. S e p a rate utility module includes i n t e g rated HVAC/MEP serv i c e s and is engineered for specifi c machine and facility requirements. Pre-manufactured Veritas VPAC modules are fabricated into shielding packs sized for the specific machine energy and anticipated workloads. Every Quantum includes a 100% shielding guarantee. 4 Production vs. Construction - Ensures Rapid Deployment and a Dramatic Reduction in Delivery Time Individual assemblies are manufactured in controlled factory conditions and then transported to the jobsite.the contents of each module are packed and prepared for shipment with the utmost care to ensure an undamaged arrival on site. The pre-engineered core assembly houses the linear accelerator installed on the basefra m e. All required electrical cabling and other services are routed within the structural subfloor to the control room and treatment room. Upon arrival onsite the unit is placed on a concrete foundation slab prepared in advance. Following placement of the core module, pre-manufactured treatment room expansion modules are fitted to the sides of the core assembly. The units combine to provide a turnkey treatment area of 20 x 25 6 x 10 h, complete with casework, flooring, ceiling and wall finishes. H VAC and MEP serv i c e s are provided via the addition of service modules placed above the control area. Utility connections, ducting and electrical runs are preengineered to meet the requirements of each facility. Pre-fabricated packs containing high-density VeriShield radiation shielding modules are placed above the treatment room.the Veritas Shielded Door System is loaded with the required thickness and density of VeriShield. VeriShield modules are fabricated into packs sized for the specifi c machine energy and anticipated workloads. Every Quantum facility includes a 100% shielding guarantee. The protective radiation shielding packs are assembled around the core which, along with the ceiling shielding, provide a seamless protective barrier. Durable exterior finish panels and roofing are applied to complete the weatherproof building envelope. External connections to electrical, water, telecommunications and other services are made via a central panel located in the services module. Available for as long as you need them. Designed specifically for temporary installations such as when an existing machine is being upgraded and space is limited, the Veritas Quantum V is the perfect solution to maintain existing services during construction. Depending upon the desired length of serv i c e, a Quantum S e ries Treatment Suite can be tailored for short - t e rm installations of a few months, or configured for longer- t e rm p l a c e m e n t. They can even be set up as a permanent facility. The Quantum V includes a 6Mv linear accelerator in a self-contained and fully shielded mobile unit. It includes many of the features that are standard with the Quantum, but provides a smaller 10 x 25 6 x 10 h treatment room. A Practical Alternative to Maintain Patient Treatments when Upgrading Facilities G e n e ra l ly, the Quantum V is utilized for 4 weeks to 2 months.
