2 Page 2 of 7 SUMMARY IPD Group LTD of 25 Princes Road East, Regents Park, NSW 2143 submitted one (1) Enclosed DC Isolator, identified as model number IPV40E, for Enclosure Protection testing in accordance with AS60529:2004 standard for IP66 code. The test item was subjected to IPx6 water jet testing to evaluate protection against ingress of water and IP6x dust test to evaluate protection against ingress of dust. The IPx6 water jet test has been carried out twice, with test item installed in both vertical and horizontal orientations. Internal visual inspection carried out upon completion of each IPx6 water tests revealed no evidence of water ingress into the enclosure. Internal visual inspection carried out upon completion of the IP6x dust test revealed no evidence of dust ingress into the enclosure. Thus the test item has successfully met the requirements of the AS standard for IP66 Code of ingress protection.

3 Page 3 of 7 TEST ITEM The test item, identified as Enclosed DC Isolator, model number IPV40E, is shown in the Photograph 1 below: Photograph 1: Test Item TEST PARAMETERS Water Jet (IPX6) Test The test item was subjected to an IPx6 test for Protection against ingress of water in accordance with AS60529:2004, IPx6 Code, to the following parameters:

The lid bolts and cable gland plugs were tightened to a torque of 1.6 Nm as specified by the customer. The test item was subjected to water jet testing twice, installed in both vertical and horizontal orientations. Both water jet tests and the associated preparations were witnessed by customer s representative. Test setup used for purposes of water jet testing is shown in photographs 2 and 3, Appendix I.

5 Page 5 of 7 The test item was subjected to dust test in a Dust Chamber complying with relevant requirements of the AS60529 standard. The test item was positioned inside the chamber with sufficient clearance from all walls ensuring adequate exposure to dust circulation from all sides. One of the cable gland plugs on located on the bottom side was replaced with vacuum line connection in order to facilitate application of under pressure in accordance with requirements of AS60529 standard. Test setup used for purposes of dust testing is shown in Photograph 4, Appendix I. RESULTS Internal visual inspection carried out upon completion of water testing revealed no evidence of water ingress into the enclosure. Internal visual inspection carried out upon completion of dust testing revealed no evidence of dust ingress into the enclosure.
