They are all cold applied for reduced risk on site and a seamless membrane on completion. Quickly installed due to rapid product cure times, they are also flexible to cater for building movement and have a range of durability and finishes to achieve individual building uses and demands. All the systems have a large standard colour range but can be made to most BS and RAL colour codes. They can then be further finished with a wide range of decorative finishes that provide a slip resistant surface. 5 BALCONIES AND WALKWAYS 5 Monodex Smooth water-based elastomeric decorative coating Wall Decoration and Protection Monodex Smooth is a high performance water based, elastomeric, high build, decorative coating which provides protection against carbonation and water ingress, yet allows damp substrates to breathe. It is ultra-fast drying which enables two coat applications to take place on the same day and facilitates year round usage. It resists the growth of mould and fungi and is ideal both for new construction and refurbishment projects. Monosil for concrete, brick and stone Monosil is a surface impregnator which can be applied to concrete, brick, stone, etc, to impart water and oil repellence. This helps protect the substrate from water and oil ingress and enhances freeze thaw resistance whilst enabling easier removal of oil, grease, paint, graffiti, etc. It is particularly suited to the treatment of car park decks and other trafficked areas. Monosil is a mixture of silane, siloxane and synthetic resins, which in its concentrated form, as supplied, imparts maximum water and oil repellence to mineral substrates such as concrete, brick, stone, etc. Unlike traditional water-repellents, it offers multi-functional protection from water, oil, grease, paint, etc, thereby enabling easier cleaning and removal of graffiti, posters, etc. Monodex Textured high performance, flexible waterborne textured coating Monodex Textured is a highly engineered, waterborne, single component, acrylic-based decorative wall coating with an attractive textured finish. Due to its high build, textured composition, it is ideal for use on buildings and other structures which have a rough, uneven finish with surface defects and imperfections. It will effectively disguise any defects and provide walls with a uniform appearance, vastly improving the aesthetic appearance of buildings. As well as having an attractive textured finish, Monodex Textured is also highly protective. It waterproofs surfaces for at least 10 years, yet allows high levels of entrapped substrate moisture to escape without causing blistering or delaminating.

Justin Pitman, Managing Director Total peace of mind When independent insurance on a project is required Proteus Waterproofing offers 10 & 12 year Latent Defects Insurance that will protect clients against damage resulting from defects in any Proteus Waterproofing product, supplied and installed, for total peace of mind and added value. Latent Defects Insurance is a form of insurance that meets the cost of rectifying defects in design, materials or workmanship which are not apparent when the job is finished but come to light during the period of the warranty. The Warranty is a Latent Defects Insurance and protects against damage resulting from defects in the installed Proteus Waterproofing product. The cover will provide a 10 or 12 year guarantee to the end user/client against latent defects manifesting themselves in the original installation of Proteus Waterproofing systems. This product is distinct from a traditional Insurance Backed Guarantee where the owner / occupier of the building will claim against the original installer and only if that installer has ceased trading will the insurance operate. Thus the independently provided product gives additional security to clients. Longer term and other warranties are available to suit the individual project or requirement.
