3 1. Foreword Forsspac has developed the concept of an end-to-end solution which starts with the clients needs and ends with the handover of the completed project ready to occupy. Key advantage being that the client has one point of contact for delivery of the project once the architectural and interior designs have been completed. 2. MEPFS Design Our design team is focused on producing designs that are fully coordinated technically and spatially with the building structure including pre-installed MEPF systems, architectural and interior designs. This approaches saves time and money by giving certainty to the contractors about what needs to be constructed/installed and by when. In addition to MEPFS design Forsspac has the capability to undertake the Architectural and interior designs working from client corporate style and brand requirements. 3. Project Management Project management requires detail focus on the needs of the project which must be converted into a detailed project management plan that is clear and concise. The project management plan must deal with the issues of master planning and budgetary control, provide simple and easy to drive procedures for getting the job done that all players can access, understand and deliver against. 4 4. Construction Management Construction management requires a team of dedicated and experienced staff to be deployed to site to oversee all aspects of the work carried out by the contractors. The site team must drive the works to hit the master plan milestone dates whilst at the same time ensuring that the construction works conform to design intent and are executed to the agreed quality level. When selecting a team we look at the project needs and draw upon our engineering and testing & commissioning staff pools to assemble the right team for the job. 5. Testing & Commissioning Management (T&CM) Before installation works get underway it is important to plan how the testing & commissioning of the systems will be carried out. A detailed T&CM plan is produced based upon the project master plan that sets out by when all tests are to be completed by. A key activity is to make sure that the methods to be used by the contractors when carrying out their testing & commissioning will deliver fully working systems. As testing & commissioning managers Forsspac make sure that the end result is in line with client requirements. This includes our site-based engineers overseeing the contractors testing, collation of all test reports & final sign off, production of operations & maintenance manuals and the training of the client staff in facility operations.
