This addendum shall hereafter be regarded as part of the Bid. Items not referenced herein remain unchanged, including the response date. Documents included are: A. Sign in Sheet from non mandatory pre bid. B. Sarasota County Standard Installation & Fabrication Plan & Details for Duplex Lift Lift Station Control Panels. Part I - Pertaining to the Solicitation Package: A. Access and construction working hours for the Central County Solid Waste Disposal Complex site are revised to; 7AM to 5PM. B. Bypass connection to the forcemain will only be allowed near the work site. Connection to the clean-out across the road will not be permitted. C. During bypass pumping, all flow must be recorded by use of a calibrated flowmeter which provides instantaneouos and totalizing flows. D. Provide one (1) spare level pressure transducer [as specified] on Sheet E-04 keynote #3. E. The Sarasota County Standard Installation & Fabrication Plan & Details for Duplex Lift Station Control Panels are included in this addendum and will be available on the BidSync project site. Part II Pertaining to the Technical Specifications / Scope of Work: N/A Part III Responses to Questions: 1. Question: Do you want RFIs through BidSync? 1. Answer: Yes, all coorspondance must be routed through BidSync to be valid. 2. Question: The panel should be capable of future RTU? 2. Question: We use the 2012 spec? 4. Answer: Yes, the bidders are directed to Sheet E-04, note 3 and the specifications. 5. Question: Does the control panel have to be supplied by the same supplier as the pumps? 5. Answer: Yes 6. Question: Is there a specific reason for the 36 by 36 hatch for the pumps? 6. Answer: The existing hatches and wet well deck will remain in this project. 7. Question: What is the project estimate? 7. Answer: $ 220, Question: Are the liftstations being modernized in the landfill? 8. Answer: This is the only pump station of this type currently at the landfill therefore it is the only one planned for rehabilitation at this time. 9. Question: How do you get named or equal in the developmental specification? 9. Answer: Although the question does not pertain to this project; County Developmental projects are reviewed by Sarasota County Public Utilities / Developmental Planning Department. 10. Question: Is the existing control panel similar to the new panel going in? 10. Answer: No, they are completely different. Bidders are directed to question # Question: There is a County standard for a transducer panel? 11. Answer: Bidders are directed to question # Question: How is the old concrete from the demolition to be handled? 12. Answer: Bidders are responsible for the transport, disposal, and all associated costs to remove and dispose of wastes generated by the project including the concrete from demolition. 13. Question: Where on the plans does the pipe transition to an eight inch pipe? 13. Answer: Bidders are directed to Sheet C-03, Rehabilitation Section A. 14. Question: Where can the Contractor stage their equipment? 14. Answer: Although limited, the Contractor may stage equipment in the immediate area of the lift station. Access must be maintained for County staff to access the landfill subcell manholes located to the east and west of the lift station.
