5 Warranty + Maintenance Information Extended Warranty The warranty duration can be extended by specifying a high-res top coat to the frame finish. Please see previous page for details on the warranties and extended warranty periods. Coating Cycle The coating cycles change for each wood type. Usually for Pine and Oak the coating cycle is composed of the following 3 coats: Impregnating Agent Intermediate Top Coat An additional intermediate coat is applied to Oak framing. Periodic Cleaning In order to reduce the need for varnish maintenance it is recommenbded that the timber frames be cleaned of dust and dirt once a month. This can be done simply with a wet cloth. Maintenance Every 6 Months/1 Year Proper maintenance can only be acheived by following the instructions given within your Operations and Maintenance manual. Recommended maintenance may differ from project to project depending on the environment and frame finish chosen. As standard we recommend: 1. Clean the window surface with a cloth and cleaner. 2. Apply the finish with a paintbrush. The surfaces should be dry within one hour. It is recommended that a proper maintenance procedure be carried out at least once per year. Notes Warranties are only valid if proper maintenance is carried out in accordance with your Operations and Maintenance manual. Wood is a natural material composed of fibres that naturally change through time. Due to this feature there could be a slight difference in tone between samples and the finished installation.

They are available for your to complete on your own alternatively ask your sales representative at IQ to complete this on your behalf. Place the Order When ready you (or your client or the builder) can then place the order for your Carminati Skyline window or door with us. A full in-house handover will take place and your project will be passed to the contracts and design team. Once your project deposit is placed we will then undertake full design drawings for the Carminati installation and any other additional glazing works. Please allow at least 20 working days for the design process. The project will be appointed a dedicated contracts manager who will oversee the installation process. The estimated lead time for Carminati Skyline products is 6 to 14 weeks depending on system and material chosen. This may be more for specialist installations. This will be confirmed on order. Where can I see the Carminati Skyline product before order? We have several Carminati Skyline products available to view at our showroom in Amersham. These timber windows and doors have been installed in a purpose built structure, exposed to the environment and used on a day to day basis. This will enable you to see just how well the Carminati timber frames withstand the wet British climate and how smoothly they operate over time.
