2 Limitations and conditions: 1. The Urbanline Selekta Panel does not provide a Fire Resistance Level. Where the product is used within 900mm of a boundary for Class 1 buildings or where an FRL is required for Class 2-9 buildings, the FRL is to be provided by other systems or products. 2. In bushfire prone areas, the Euro Selekta Clad is compliant between Low BAL and BAL 29 only. 3. The Urbanline Selekta Clad panel is not permitted to be used on two adjacent walls facing each other less than 90 for buildings of Type A or B construction. 4. This Certificate is issued based on the evidence of compliance as detailed herein. Any deviation from the specifications contained in this Certificate is outside of this document s scope and the installation of the certified product/system will not be covered by this CodeMark certification. This may result in the product being classified as a non-conforming building product/system. Clause C1.10 Fire Hazard Properties The Urbanline Selekta Clad when used as a lining in a class 2 to 9 building complies with the requirements of (ii) wall linings and ceiling linings and (ix) other materials and locations in areas permitted by a Group 3 product. The Urbanline Selekta Clad is not exempt under sub-clause (c). The testing has demonstrated the suitability of the Urbanline Selekta Clad in both the vertical and horizontal orientation internally and externally to a building. Specification C1.10 Fire Hazard Properties In accordance with Clause 4, the Urbanline Selekta Clad has been tested in accordance with the requirements of ISO and achieved an equivalence to a Group 3 rating. In accordance with Clause 7, the Urbanline Selekta Clad material achieves a Spread of Flame Index as well as Smoke Development Index less that the maximum permitted under Table 4. Clause G5.2 - Bushfire The Urbanline Selekta Clad is permitted to be installed on the exposed components of an external wall within BAL 29 areas and maintain compliance with the requirements of AS 3959, Clause G5.2 and Part Performance Solution In the opinion of Ignis Solutions, the evaluation has demonstrated that the proposed Performance Solution for the Urbanline Selekta Clad does not increase the risk of fire spread and as such satisfies BCA Performance Requirements CP2, CP4 and CP8 as well as the Deemed-to- Satisfy Provisions of Clause C1.10 and Specification C1.1 Clause 2.4. Euro Selekta Clad Profile must be installed in accordance with the Euro Selekta Clad Installation instructions ESII AUS V b. The maximum fixing span is 625mm and must be reduced to 300mm within 1200mm of building corners using 6G-30mm stainless steel screws. c. Euro Selekta Clad is to be installed with mechanical fixing at stud, batten or furring channel centres no greater than 625mm in general areas and 300mm within 1200mm of building corners using 30mm long 6-gauge stainless steel screws up to and including wind class N4, C3. d. Heavy structures such as awnings, climbing trellis etc., may not be fastened directly to the cladding or its sub-framework. Separate frame-work is required. e. It is suitable for Euro Selekta Clad to be mechanically fixed through any weatherproof sarking-type material, fire resistant or acoustic material and directly to the primary building element, wall frame subframe or associated furring channel. f. Euro Selekta Clad is permitted to be installed on the exposed components of an external wall, decks, carport roofs, awnings and similar elements or fittings having an angle less than 19 degrees to the horizontal and extending more than 110mm in width from the wall and maintain compliance with the requirements of AS 3959:2009. A6 Other relevant technical data Sound Insulation: When installed in conjunction with two (2) layers of plasterboard on the receiving side and one layer on the other side of the stud, with 100mm Earthwool insulation (R2.5), the system achieves an Rw of 49. Fire: Clause C1.1 Type of Construction: The Urbanline Selekta Clad complies with the requirements for Types of construction A, B and C as well as the requirements under Specification C1.1 Clause 2.4 Attachments not to impair fire-resistance: The Urbanline Selekta Clad satisfies the fire hazard properties prescribed in Specification C1.10. Achieves a Group 3 number and is not consisted to contribute to a fire and make a required exit unusable. Will not lead to the spread of fire by way of the building façade on a single plane.
