Box 7402 Sioux Falls, SD ADDENDUM NO. 1 June 23, 2015 TO ALL PLANHOLDERS: The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are hereby made a part of the contract documents for the above-referenced project, as fully and completely as if the same were fully set forth therein: General Bid Form: Revised proposal form provided (bidder shall discard the original proposal form). Due to time constraints, updated plan sheets are not being provided with this addendum, but will be provided to the successful bidder upon request. The bid item Remove Existing Innerduct, Quantity 3,000 feet, has been added. The bid item F&I.5 Innerduct HDPE, has be reduced to 17,720 feet Sheet B1 Quantity Table: The bid item Remove Existing Innerduct, Quantity 3,000 feet, has been added. The bid item F&I.5 Innerduct HDPE, has been reduced to 17,720 feet Sheet L10 & L11 Sheet L17 The.5 Innerduct HDPE will not be installed in the bridge railing. Only the 24SM/12MM fiber optic cable will be installed in the bridge railing. Approximately 350 feet has been deducted from the bid item #23 quantities. The.5 Innerduct HDPE will not be installed from the Fire Station building to the first junction box. Only the two 48SM/12MM fiber optic cables will be installed from the Fire Station building to the first junction box. This length for.5 Innerduct HDPE was not originally included in bid item #23 quantities.

2 Sheet L14 - L19 The.5 Innerduct HDPE will not be installed between 41 st Street and 33 rd Street. The new 48SM/12MM fiber optic cable will be installed in the existing 3/4" Innerduct. Approximately 3,300 feet has been deducted from the bid item #23 quantities. Sheet L19 L23 Sheet L23 The existing 1 Innerduct will be removed per bid item #30 Remove Existing Innerduct. A new.5 Innerduct HDPE will be installed in the existing 2 Rigid Steel Conduit (RGSC) as shown on the plans. The length for the new.5 Innerduct HDPE is included in the original quantities of bid item #23. The.5 Innerduct HDPE will not be installed across Minnesota Avenue at 26 th Street. A new.5 Innerduct was installed in June The new 48SM/12MM fiber optic cable will be installed in the existing.5 Innerduct. Approximately 80 feet has been deducted from the bid item #23 quantities. Sheet L26 L28 The.5 Innerduct HDPE will not be installed from the NW corner of 14 th Street to the SW corner of 11 th Street. This request will be evaluated and a contract award made to the lowest bid, inclusive of selected alternates if applicable, from a responsive and responsible bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner and as allowed by project budget. It is understood and agreed that the quantities of material to be furnished and work to be done may be varied on construction as may be deemed advisable by the City of Sioux Falls. It is further understood and agreed that the City of Sioux Falls may, at its option, delete items from the contract. The bid includes all local, state, and federal taxes that would affect the amount of the bid. Lane closures may only be in place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day unless an extended closure is approved by the Engineer. Traffic shall be maintained in all directions at all times while work is being performed. Bike Trail closures required for this project are limited to 5 working days and shall not include any weekend closures. The Contractor will commence work under this contract and fully complete the project by October 2nd, Contractor further agrees to pay as liquidated damages the amount specified in the City of Sioux Falls current edition of the General Conditions for Public Improvements, Section 8.9, for each working day thereafter that the work remains uncompleted.
