This Addendum forms part of the contract documents and is to be read, interpreted, and coordinated with all other parts. The cost of all contained herein is to be included in the contract sum. The following revisions supersede the information contained in the original drawings and specifications issued for the above-named project to the extent referenced and shall become part thereof. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by inserting its number and date on the Tender Form. Failure to do so may subject the Bidder to disqualification. ARCHITECTURE: Modifications to the General Requirements and to the provided Tender Guide (comprising Architectural Technical Specifications): The modifications to the General Requirements and to the provided Tender Guide (comprising Architectural Technical specifications), as identified in the text and sections herein, are an integral part of this addendum. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS p.2 of the Tender Guide THE CREE NATION GOVERNMENT WILL AWARD CONTRACTS TO THE LOWEST CONFORMING BIDDER PER BUILDING. A CONTRACTOR CAN BID FOR ONE (1), TWO (2) OR THREE (3) BUILDINGS. Addition Note the addition of CONFORMING to the sentence above. This call for tender is issued as a single package, and will remain so. This call for tender will not be reformatted into two separate calls for tender. This call for tenders can be responded to by a partial bid. As long as the bid covers all the items listed for the chosen building(s), a bid can cover any one (1) or two (2) or three (3) buildings out of those listed in

2 RRA 1728 Page 2 of 6 the call for tenders. A contractor is free to choose whichever building(s), out of the three (3), he wishes to include in or exclude from his bid. Submitted bids should make very clear which of the building(s) is tendered for. To that effect, Contractor is to indicate N/A in all the tables excluded from his bid. Again, a bid is considered valid only if all the items listed for the chosen building(s) are responded to with all the pertinent information required in the Tender Guide tables. There will be a bid bond required with the bid submittal. TENDER GUIDE (comprising ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS) The modifications to the Tender Guide (comprising Architectural Technical Specifications), either described in the text and sections herein, or shown as annexed photos or drawings, are an integral part of this addendum New Standing Seam Metal Roof &; New Standing Seam Metal Roof Modification New standing seam metal roofing product is to be as follow (or approved equivalent): Model: Tradition Manufacturer: Vicwest. Finish warranty is to be ensured by WeatherX finish (or approved equivalent). Color will be Architect s choice from manufacturer s standard colors. Warranty on the system remains unchanged (min. 40 years). Work to include all associated required work, to industry standards: include all accessories. Any element or substrate required under the metal sheet, to the existing reused plywood sheathing, is considered part of the roof system, as a whole. Contractor is responsible for providing all new roofing items to ensure a complete work, as part of a complete system. This includes: - Refurbishing of the plywood sheathing with new, where required. Contractor is responsible for approving the solid surface backing on which the roof will be installed; - New weather-barrier (1) and venting (2) underlay. All weather barriers to suit manufacturer s recommendations. Acceptable products: (1) Lastobond from Soprema, Ice & Water Shield from W.R. Grace, or approved equivalent, and (2) Delta-Trela, by Dorken, or approved equivalent; - New standing seem metal roofing product (see Modification above for the detail); - New clip system, conceived to allow thermal dilatation and contraction of the roofing sheet metal. Clips are to be fabricated with min. 0,91 mm (0,036 po) thick steel (pre-galvanization), with a coating Z275 or superior; - New fasteners, as recommended by roofing manufacturer, and adapted to profile; - New aeration caps; - New accessories such as flashings, sealants, etc. as needed, to manufacturer s recommendation; - Note: Any existing mechanical equipment and its support structure should remain unaffected. Contactor is responsible for coordinating the continuity of weather barriers to these elements, to manufacturer s instructions. In case of damage attributable to his work, Contractor is to repair as new ; - Note: Contractor to coordinate and ensure compatibility of products prior to installation;

3 RRA 1728 Page 3 of 6 Modification Existing attic insulation is excluded from the roofing system, and shall remain unaffected by the works. Disregard the request for system R-value information in the tables provided a. Sand Filtering; a. Weed Removal, Sand Filtering and Sand Addition (P1); b. Sand Filtering and Sand Addition (P2) &; e. Sand Filtering and Sand Addition Sand layer is expected to be typically 12 inches deep. Note: This depth is considered a minimum for any sand-filled general playground surface area. This depth is to be deeper in the remaining sandboxes, as per existing (about 6 inches below the wooden border edge) b. Springer Equipment Replacement & Refurbishing The choice of new existing springer equipment to replace the missing one is Contractor s pick amongst those presented in the Annex 4, or approved alternate. Note: Contactor to reuse existing base in place (see Annex 1 for picture of the empty concrete base), and to coordinate the supplied model accordingly slight refurbishing of the base is acceptable, but no new base is intended. For this reason, Contractor is to choose one of the single-spring models. The equipment removed is believed to have been of the similar type as that still in place, mounted on a single flat spring (see below Addition detail). Addition Replace the deficient spring to the existing springer equipment in place (a red truck with flat spring, similar to VTT seen on p.158 in Annex 4: see Annex 1 for picture of the existing conditions) c. Fixing of Existing Swing Set The existing swing set is of metal structure, and approximately feet in height. See below picture for visual aid:

Replacement of Existing Sports Play Tiles The original existing sports play tiles were placed in a mixed arrangement of yellow, red, blue and green assortment, with no particular layout grid imposed. See below picture for visual aid. The Contractor is free to replicate this setup, or switch it up in the same fashion, design to be approved by the Architect. Bright colors are preferred, without any mandatory hue requirement. The new sports play tiles are to be installed as per manufacturer s instructions. Contractor is to remove existing tiles, to assess and correct the existing structure underneath, to ensure a levelled flat surface support by providing a new preservative/pressure-treated plywood layer (min ½ inch thick) atop the reused structure, and to glue the tiles onto the sheet surface with an adhesive approved by the manufacturer. Note: Contractor to coordinate and ensure substrate compatibility with the adhesive product prior to installing either. Note-2: Tiles should be glued to one-another by their sides: Contractor to ensure no gap or overlap is created, and that the work meets at a 90 angle.

New Sports Play Tiles Arrangement s New wooden deck to be provided for tile support (this levelled flat surface should be brought above the lower part of the enclosure fence) - A single platform is expected for this construction. This platform is expected to be levelled at about 7¼ above existing deck level. See below picture for visual aid. The east-most playground division is visible on the left-hand side, while existing deck is on right-hand side. - Wood used in recent renovations to the outdoor compound is Goodfellow ProNature (Sepia). Contractor is to provide wood to that specification, or an approved equivalent. All lumber shall be identified by grade mark of, or certificate of inspection issued by, an approved grading or inspection bureau or agency. All lumber shall be pressure-treated with an approved process and preservative in accordance with Canadian Wood Council codes and standards. All lumber in contact with the ground shall be approved preservative treated wood suitable for ground contract. - All mechanical fasteners used should be corrosion-resistant. - Contractor is to submit a sealed engineered shop drawing of the platform and its supports + foundations for approval by Architect 2-weeks prior to conducting the works. No work is to proceed without approval.

6 RRA 1728 Page 6 of g. Removal for Reuse of Wooden Posts / Fence See below picture for visual aid regarding the wooden posts / fence to remove a. Replacement of Exterior Doors and Frames s - All final dimensions are to be confirmed on site by the Contractor. - Finishing molding is to be similar to the existing conditions b. Addition of LED Exterior Lighting; c. Repairs / Replacement of Exterior Lighting (envelope provision) &; a. Repairs / Replacement of Exterior Lighting & New Sensor Light s - Currently, there is only (at best) an emergency lighting network in place on the playground side of the facility. New ambient lighting setup shall provide enough light to brighten up to feet of playground area adjacent to the building in a way that will provide sense of safety to the users. - Contractor is to submit a sealed engineered shop drawing of the proposed lighting for approval by Architect 2-weeks prior to conducting the works. No work is to proceed without approval d. Addition of Screens, Glass Panes, and Hardware s - All final dimensions are to be confirmed on site by the Contractor. - Glass and hardware type is to be similar to the existing conditions.
