LCI CONGRESS PRESENTATION STYLE GUIDE Roll-out of collaboration platform

Background on Fieldwire Started in employees in San Francisco Core use cases: Ø Mobile plan viewing Ø Task management Ø Issue tracking Available on web, ios and Android 10

Current State: using Fieldwire to manage inspections 11

Step 1: GC plans the inspection request (IR) 12

Step 2: GC prefills the IR 13

Step 3: GC notifies the inspector of record (IOR) 14

Step 4: IOR inspects work 15

Step 5: IOR fills out the form 16

Step 6: GC verifies the IR 17

LCI CONGRESS PRESENTATION STYLE GUIDE First Results & Future State

First Results Inspection Requests (IR) data, as of Oct. 5, Total IR Open Approved Approved as noted Not approved Passed first time Average turnaround (days) Increment #1 (March - October 2017) Increment #2 (June - October 2017) Increment #6 (April - July 2017) % % %

What s Working Well Ability to assign inspections to different members of the team (from trade partner to general contractor to IOR) extremely useful always know whose court it is in. Ability to type notes in the task (inspection) for various reasons. It is nearly impossible to forget about an inspection that does not pass, as the status should not go to complete or verified if not passed. Fieldwire team is continuing to work with the team to implement features we see necessary or useful. 5AM Monday Reminders of Open Inspections 20

Lessons learned Have to import Inspection Request Forms Have to open in third party PDF viewer to see markups (on mobile version). The numbering system is easily messed up should not be up to user to create the consecutive number. Does not allow you to delete once created, without messing up numbering. The numbering is actually one of the largest hurdles. 21

Future improvements Have the trade partners issue the inspection request to GC through Fieldwire. Product improvements for the project: Custom forms Improved data analytics & metrics The program allows us to pull a lot of data, just not necessarily useful data to create charts. Some useful data stats would be related to: Approved first try, Approved, Approved with comments, Not Approved, sorted by week, month, year, contractor, etc. 22

In the spirit of continuous improvement, we would like to remind you to complete this session s survey in the Congress app! We look forward to receiving your feedback.
