2 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: In the Stage 1 area, work continued on the installation of the landscape irrigation system. Other significant items of work completed during the month of November included installation of the chain link fence along the right of way and the installation of temporary AC sidewalks. In the Stage 2B & 2C area, Fifth Street between Bridge Street and Ballpark Drive, work continued on the completion of underground improvements. Between Mill Street and Bridge Street, work continued on completion of the road subgrade, placement of aggregate base rock and for the concrete sidewalk curb & gutter. Testing and training continued for the Sanitary Lift Station (SSLS) project. The last section of the offsite Storm Drain pipe system was installed. The system was cleaned and tied into the downstream system. To date, the City has approved 13 construction change orders (CCO s) for Teichert s contract for roughly $2.3 million dollars. It is apparent that the field conflicts and various plan changes represented by these CCO s have delayed completion of the work well into next year. The City authorized Teichert to accelerate the work, beginning late September by working overtime to help ensure that all roadway work is complete prior to the start of next years Rivercat s baseball season. Completion of the landscape improvements and miscellaneous punchlist work may continue into the late spring of A new completion date of 7/9/2012 has been established.
