Walker Middle School Addition & Renovations 1. DOCUMENT DISTRIBUTION: The attached "Document Distribution" page details how documents and addenda will be distributed. 2. ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION BUDGET INCLUDING ALLOWANCES: Total for BP# 209 $30,975, Scope of Work. The Work consists of: BP 209 ORG 056 E.D. Walker Middle School Addition / Renovation - Project consists of the following; New 45,248 sf two-story Special Ed., Kinder / Elementary Classrooms, Support Areas and Administration Addition. New 7,689 sf P.E. Gym and support spaces for new Kinder / Elementary Addition. Gym and Support Areas are Proposed Storm Shelter. No locker areas are proposed. Select Renovation of existing Gym. Replace damaged bleachers, new goals / backstops, score board and misc. items Extensive & Select Renovation of Existing School Facility Interior Areas. Extensive Renovation of Existing Band, Choir & Orchestra areas. Clean, Prep. and Repaint Existing Middle School exterior wall surfaces with Hi- Performance / Hi-build coating / paint. Repair and Re-coating of existing PUF roof membrane. Repair and repainting of existing roof edge fascia and other misc. sheet metal roofing as required. Refer to PSM Roof Survey Report. Demo. and replacement of existing school facility H.M. and Alumin. exterior windows and associated exterior door entrances with new alumin. storefront window and new door entrance assemblies. Alarm, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler, Etc.) proposed scope of work.

2 Proposed restroom areas (Wall / Floor / Base / Ceiling Finishes, Plumbing Fixtures, Toilet Accessories, Toilet Partitions, Etc.) renovation scope of work. Demo. & replacement of existing North Area parking and drives with new concrete drives, drop-off lane, parking and sidewalks for the new proposed Kinder / Elementary building addition. Demo., Replacement and Modification of existing Southwest parking areas, drives and drop-off lane along "Nuestra Drive" with new drive entrances, concrete drives, drop-off lane, parking and sidewalks for the existing Middle School Main entrance. Demo., replacement and modification of existing damaged Fire Lane drive along the south and east sides of the building. Repair and upgrading of landscaping and irrigation sprinkler system in conjunction with new proposed Kinder / Elementary Building addition. Repair, upgrading and expansion of existing practice field along south side of site. Repair and upgrading of existing practice field along east side of site into a play area for Kinder / Elementary / P.E. Gym Building Addition. Includes a one (1) Kinder Play Area / Play Surface and one (1) Elementary Play Area / Play Surface. Repair and upgrading of courtyard area formed by construction of new proposed kinder / elementary addition and existing building. Upgrades to include paving, planters, landscaping and irrigation. City of Dallas required storm water on-site retention area (surface type) required due to new building addition and expansion of parking areas Renovation of existing Kitchen, Serving and Cafeteria areas. Renovation of existing Data / Technology Infrastructure and Demo. & Replacement of existing Public Address System throughout the existing building and integration of system with new building addition. Additive Alternate 1: Install New Proposed Lower Canopy at Middle School Main Entrance over Concrete Benches at Drop-off Area. Additive Alternate 2: Renovate / Expand Existing Stage Area & Select Renovations of the Existing Auditorium. Additive Alternate 3: Provide a New softball Field. Repair, Upgrade Existing Athletic Practice field(s). Replacement of Existing Baseball Field (Bleachers) and Select Site Renovations. Additive Alternate 4: Contractor to Provide and Install Select Kitchen Equipment in lieu of the Owner providing/placing the Selected Kitchen Equipment and the Contractor installing/connecting the Selected Kitchen Equipment. 4. However, all such addenda will be listed on the website with the date of issuance of each addenda, and instructions to proposers for procuring such addenda from ARC Document Solutions Documents are available as follows: Full size sets of plans and specifications are available for purchase at the Printing Company noted above. One (1) CD-ROM in PDF format will be provided at no additional charge with the purchase of one (1) complete set of full size plans and specifications. Purchase price must be obtained directly from the Printing Company. The purchases of additional CD-ROM s of proposal documents in PDF format are available only to purchasers of at least one (1) full size plans and specifications.
