2 CITY OF NEW WESTMINSTER NWIT WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT PROGRAM ADDENDUM NO.2 Date : June 20, 2012 No. of Pages : 7 TO ALL BIDDERS 1. General This Addendum forms part of the Contract Documents and shall be read, interpreted and coordinated with all other parts. The costs of all work contained herein shall be included in the Contract Price. The following revisions supersede the information contained in the original Tender Documents to the extent referenced and shall become part thereof. 2. Clarifications Questions complete with answers as follows: Q1: Existing hydrant reconnection to new main; under what pay item is this getting paid? A1: Payment as new hydrant. Viability of keeping or replacing existing hydrant to be reviewed at time of construction. Q2: Do you have the junction box specs? (Fiber optic) A2: See attached detail. Q3: Do you have the location (of the fiber optic junction boxes), where to place these junction boxes, so we can quantify the restoration (ie grass boulevard, sidewalk etc). A3: Junction boxes to be located as per revised drawings detailed below. Q4: 50mm diameter air 8 th Street Pay item is missing. A4: Schedule of quantities revised. See attached. Page 1 of 3
