Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification. This Addendum consists of TWO (2) page(s) together with the following attachments: Mandatory Walkthrough Sign-In Sheet Plan Holder s List CLARIFICATION 1. Drawings posted on HGE website were reloaded/updated on October 16, 2018 to reflect missing Demo Roof Plan, Sheet A3.0 and Structural Drawings. 2. Existing 1976 Original Construction Drawings are available for contractor reference on HGE website: CHANGES TO PROJECT MANUAL: None. CHANGES TO DRAWINGS 1. Sheet A1.1: Contractor staging available at lower grade, south of Maintenance Building. Temporary short-term access at SE and NE entry of building. 2. Sheet A2.11: Provide 8 x 8 x 16 CMU base, match existing, at lockers scheduled to be removed. Architect to provide detail in next addendum. 3. Sheet A2.20: Delete reference to demo window and frame, grid 15, between D and E. 4. Sheet A2.21: a. Delete reference to infill at windows, grid 15, between D and E. 2 Addendum #1 b. Reference to Shotcrete Concrete Walls: Contractors questioned approval of poured-in-place concrete wall as a substitution. This method is approved contingent on compliance to structural engineer requirements. This clarification to be addressed in next addendum. 5. Sheet A5.1, Details 5/A5.1 and 9/A5.1: a. Secure furring strips to concrete with powder activated fasteners. b. Clarification: Existing 1 x 6 wood trim / panel to be removed and reinstalled per Interior Elevation notes. Replace as needed if damaged. c. Rigid insulation infill to be approximately 1-1/2 inch thick, placed against existing furring, taped / sealed as back surface of concrete forming for concrete walls. 6. Sheet S3.6: Provide 8 x 8 x 16 CMU base, match existing, at lockers scheduled to be removed. Architect to provide detail in next addendum.
