Our warehouse is managed by FIFO principle which means that products produced first will be shipped first to market. During this period of transition some products have the new logo and others will be with the existing logo. Within a single item no. you will always have the same label for that shipment and you will not experience a product case with both logos. 19 ECOLOGICAL PRODUCTS for more than 40 years EN 71-3 EN 71-3 The migration of metals (As, Hg, Se, Cr, Sb, Cd, Pb, Ba) of the sample was tested according EN 71 Part There was no evidence for migration of the named metals above the limit of detection (10-50 ppm). VOC FREE VOC The VOC Directive, devised by the European Parliament and the Council of Europe, defines the directive limiting emissions for certain pollution causing volatile organic compounds, called VOCs. All WOCA Denmark products meet the VOC Directives for 2007 and Danish Indoor Climate Labelling Danish Indoor Climate Labelling is a voluntary labelling scheme for products and materials which are able to document degassing. Indoor climate labelled materials are a natural component of sustainable construction, where good indoor air quality contributes to social sustainability. A+ ANTI SLIP DIN Since September 2013, all floor coating products marketed and sold in France are obliged to be labelled with a VOC classification ranging from grade A+ (very low emissions) to grade C (high emissions). The aim is to improve indoor air quality in both private and commercial buildings. This regulation enables consumers to select environmentally friendly products as well, as the grade A+ guarantees an emission of volatile substances below the limit value after 28 days a limit value identical with the one prescribed by the Center of Competence in Civil Engineering (DIBt). NORDIC SWAN ECOLABEL FIRE RATING EN ISO The Nordic Swan The Nordic Swan is the official Nordic environmental label. The Nordic Swan was formed by the Nordic Council of Ministers in Denmark joined in The Nordic Swan aims to minimise the cumulative environmental stress caused by consumerism. Accordingly, these environmental labels consider the entire journey of the product and the resulting environmental problems, so as to benefit people, the environment and protect the world s resources. In cleaning products, this means that numerous chemicals are banned. Packaging and design are also subject to requirements. Consumers must be provided with information about correct dosage, and effectiveness must be documented. 22 FLOORING CARE Do s and don ts 1. Always Soap your Oil finished or Hardwax Oiled floors on a regular basis. What does Soap your floors mean? It means mop your floors with WOCA Natural Soap. WOCA Natural Soap Natural is for natural to dark floors, WOCA Natural Soap White is for light to white floors, and WOCA Natural Soap Gray is for gray floors. WOCA Natural Soap is designed to clean and protect oil finished surfaces from dirt, stains and wear and tear. WOCA Natural Soap cleans and leaves behind an invisible layer of soy and coconut fats, which greatly help to ward off most anything. When used on a regular basis, WOCA Natural Soap makes your oil finished floor more dirt and wear resistant and easier to keep clean. 2. Use WOCA Soap Natural to clean and protect your investment and avoid common household cleaners. It is important to carefully consider what product to use when you clean your Oil finished floor. You can easily end up with an unwanted result if you use common household items instead of WOCA Natural Soap. The ph value in some cleaners is very high, which can strip the finish, discolor the wood an damage the floor. 3. Why is WOCA Natural Soap so important for an Oil finished and Hardwax Oiled floor? Think of it like caring for your skin. You want a product that cleanses AND protects it from getting dry and cracked. 23 5. Visible footprints on a freshly washed floor? The problem may be an excessive dosage of soap. The content in our different WOCA soaps has been carefully combined to achieve a perfect texture and quality. So even if you think you are doing the floor a favor, it is very important to mix the soap with water as recommended on the label (3oz. /gallon of water). Clean the floor with pure, lukewarm water (without soap) and the footprints will disappear again. 6. Use WOCA Oil Refresher every 3-6 months. In addition to using WOCA Soap for regular cleaning, mop your floors every 3-6 months with WOCA Oil Refreshing Soap. It cleans the floor efficiently, while adding some extra oil to the surface at the same time - refreshing the surface! 7. WOCA Natural Soap vs. Oil Refreshing Soap. What s the difference? Why should I use both? WOCA Natural Soap cleans the surface and contains soy and coconut fats that nourish and protect the wood creating a more durable surface. The floor becomes more dirt and wear resistant when used on a regular basis. WOCA Oil Refreshing Soap cleans the surface and has a bit of oil in it, which rejuvenates the finish. WOCA Natural Soap and WOCA Oil Refreshing Soap work together as a system to clean, protect and revive your floor. For a durable, well protected, beautiful Oil finish, we recommend mopping with WOCA Natural Soap on a regular basis and mopping with WOCA Oil Refreshing Soap once every 3-6 months. 8.
