3 MAIN TECHNICAL FEATURES The conduit-fitting systes, coplying with the requireents of the Reference Standards EN and EN , include plain or sleeved rigid conduits ade of self-extinguishing technopolyer on rigid PVC base or by halogen free raw aterials according to the Standard EN and EN The halogen free conduits are strongly recoended for crowded places, like airports, schools, theatres, tunnels, ecc, because they are characterized by a low very eission or coplete lack of toxic gases and of light soke which doesn t prevent fro locating the eergency exits und darkening the light sources. The pliable conduits are available in two different versions: one anufactured with self-extinguishing (V0 according to the Standard UL94) technopolyer on PVC base and the other anufactured with self-extinguishing selfrecovering halogen free polypropylene. Great attention is given to the conduit packaging. Both the bundles of rigid conduits and the coils of pliable conduits are wrapped in stretch fil. The pallets are covered by white fil, granting a very good protection against UV-rays and atospheric agents. The pallets of pliable conduits also have a plastic hook on the top. The range is copleted by the spiral flexible conduits suitable for industrial as well as civil uses thanks to their flexibility, resistance to copression, cheical agents, particularly oils and greases. 316 CONDUIT SYSTEMS AND ACCESSORIES

Soe types are available with draw tape as well Soe conduits are also available in 10t or 25t coils The pliable corrugated self-covering selfextinguishing PP insulating conduits series ICTA are halogen free, therefore ideal for public buildings The spiral flexible conduits, available in grey or black, are the ideal solution for floating connections Together with the accessories for the change of direction and the fixing, Elettrocanali rigid conduits for a syste able to eet any distribution need both in industrial and civil installations. In particular the several different accessories perit to join a rigid conduit with a spiral flexible conduit for installations of achineries, lighting, junction boxes. The rigid conduits can be coldbent by the proper steel springs. The pliable conduits offer the installer a wide range of solutions according to the different installation requests: fro the conduits to be installed under the wall, in black for standard circuits or in different colours for coposite electrical systes, to the self-recovering selfextinguishing ICTA conduits particularly suitable for being put under the floor thanks to a peranent 10% deforation once the load is taken away. They can stand an installation teperature up to 90 C. ICTA conduits are also available in the pre-wired version. The pliable orange PP conduits series TP are appropriate for prefabrication thanks to the fact that they resist to the heat and recover their original diaeter once the load is taken away, for instance when they are buried in concrete.
