THE PRODUCT The KAZA panel collection offers subtle yet distinctive coverings for medium to large sized wall and floor surfaces. Along with well-known and easily applicable square and rectangleshaped pieces, the family comprises a modular set of flat tiles with circular elements as well. Suitable for both internal and external application, the boards are available in three different contemporary surfaces: smooth, rough and terrazzo: Panels with a smooth surface represent the sleek, luxurious look of KAZA tiles. With the main focus on texture, rough surfaces exhibit the true nature of concrete. Terrazzo surfaces expose mineral stones within the material. KAZA floor panels and tiles provide elegant concrete floor surface solutions for indoor and outdoor areas. Carrying the same level of aesthetics and quality that KAZA wall products are known for, panels create only the slightest raster, while tiles operate with contemporary geometries. -2-

PANELS by KAZA Concrete COLOURS MATTE 24 base colours All KAZA panels have a uniform appearance that complies with the V2 colour grade. Inherent minor tone variations among different tiles and within individual tiles occur due to the presence of natural components in the material and the handmade process of creating KAZA concrete tiles. Please note that in case of dark tones with high saturation (i.e. Night straight, Total Eclipse, and Seascape Allure) the same tone variations may be more distinguishable. Moreover, we can mix and match almost any colour code or sample sent to us, though a surcharge may apply to special colours. All KAZA Concrete panels are treated against stains and moisture, and are available in matte finishing. Any panel can be ordered in any colour or any combination of colours. -6-

Terrazzo samples provided for a project are an indication only. KAZA will make every effort to source/acquire stones of the same size, colour and shade as in the samples from its suppliers. For further reference please see the CTDA Shade Variation Guide according to which KAZA Terrazzo tiles fall in the category V2 - Slight Variation. Thickness of the tiles may vary (±5%). Colours on the website are an indication only. KAZA Terrazzo collection includes 10 different colour and stone combinations but advanced combinations are also available upon request. -7-

INSTALLATION Application of KAZA Concrete tiles needs a great deal of skill and attention to detail. Approved competent contractors should be employed with experience of similar projects fixing natural stone or concrete products. We recommend 4 types of fixing solutions: I. Fixing with adhesive II. Simple mechanical fixing III. Mechanical fixing with anchor bolts IV. Mechanical fixing with body anchors I. Fixing with Adhesive -12-

I. Fixing with Adhesive -13-

I. Fixing with Adhesive - Floor tiles KAZA floor tiles should be installed on top of a 4-layer bedding. On a concrete underlay place a layer of primer, a layer of floor-levelling compound and a layer of floatingbed tile adhesive. Grouting is recommended with the use of a one-component paving grout in a 1-2 mm stripe. Do not use epoxy-based grouts as they are difficult to clean. For floor tiles that require special load bearing capacities, please contact the supplier for available options. The usual cm thickness of KAZA floor tiles is suitable for everyday load. -14-

II. Simple mechanical fixing non visible - adhesive with metal ribbons Individual panels are filled with metal ribbon on the back to ease mechanical fixing. Having this metal ribbon cast in the panel, it can be screwed to the facade and the tile above will cover it, so it remains invisible. Placement of the metal ribbons: Measurement of the metal ribbons: 10 concrete panel metal ribbon polymer based adhesive loadbearing wall 802 Installation starts from building edge, left to right or right to left and always from bottom to top, with a minimum grouting distance of 2 mm. -15-

PANELS by KAZA Concrete II. Simple mechanical fixing non visible - adhesive with metal ribbons Metal ribbons are cast in each panel. Number of necessary ribbons depend on the size and weight of the panel. Placement of the metal ribbons depend on the layout and clients preferences. After bending the metal ribbons to right position adhesive should be applied to the back of the product. After placing the panel on the wall it should be drilled in to the wall. The next panel will cover the metal ribbon of the previous one, so the mechanical fixing remains invisible. -16-

III. Mechanical fixing with Anchor bolts visible mechanical fixing system Panels are generally fixed at four points. The type of the anchor bolts depends on the weight of the panels and the substrate. Position of the anchor dots: Placement of the fixing hole: The standarsd distance from the corner of the panel to the centre of the hole is 50 mm. Measurement of the fixing hole: Recommended standard solution for concrete walls: The wooden base structure is suitable for indoor use only. For outdoor application please use steel profiles. concrete panel wooden base structure pigmented epoxy covering 35 6*40 countersunk wood screw loadbearing wall 70 threaded rod -17-

IV. Mechanical fixing with body anchors (Halfen system) non visible - mechanical natural stone fixing system Panels are generally fixed at four points. The type of the body anchors depends on the weight of the panels and stand off distances. Suitable for: Brick walls Concrete walls with Support system Position of the body anchors: Placement of the fixing hole: The standard distance from the corner of the panel to the centre of the hole is 50 mm. Measurement of the fixing hole: Recommended standard solution for concrete walls: Halfen HRM/HRC system Recommended standard solution for brick walls: Halfen UMA/UHA system concrete panel concrete panel serrated washer loose pin loose pin HRM / HRC body anchor UMA / UHA support anchor loadbearing wall / structure loadbearing wall / structure Please note that this is a standard recommendation for medium sized concrete panels with minimum stand-off distance. For more information and precise selection of fixing solution please contact Halfen. -19-

IV. Mechanical fixing with body anchors (Halfen system) non visible - mechanical natural stone fixing system Installation options - depending on grouting: Installation starts from building edge, left to right or right to left and always from bottom to top, with a minimum grouting deistance of 2 mm. Vertical installation: Horizontal installation: Please note that this is a standard recommendation for medium sized concrete panels with minimum stand-off distance. For more information and precise selection of fixing solution please contact Halfen. --

CARE AND MAINTENANCE 1. Sealants All KAZA panels undergo a surface treatment process during manufacturing and therefore do not require extra treatment before and after installation. A repeat treatment* of the surface is recommended: Panel Terrazzo Wall Repeat treatment is not needed. Repeat treatment is needed: - 5 years KAZA Terrazzo tiles are treated with a resistant impregnation. For retreatment use Lantania AVO sealer or equivalent. Floor Repeat treatment is needed: - Low-to medium traffic: 5 years - High Traffic: 3-5 years KAZA floor tiles are treated with a resistant matte floor treatment to have wear-proof qualities and protect against heavy foot traffic. For retreatment use METALLUX 2K Enamel or equivalent. Repeat treatment is needed: - Low-to medium traffic: 5 years - High Traffic: 3-5 years KAZA Terrazzo tiles are treated with a resistant impregnation. For retreatment use Lantania AVO sealer or equivalent. *Note that Abrasion takes place gradually over time and resealing time is also a fuction of aesthetics requirements. 2. Care and maintenance For heavy stains, eg: oil, grease, residue of floor care products & floor shine, rubber tracks from shoes, soot, etc. we would recommend cleaning with slightly alkaline, general cleaning products. Terrazzo surfaces should be cleaned with Klindex Stonesoap or equivalent in order to keep the treatment tenacity. In case of contamination, the surface must be cleaned instantly. A strong impact can leave a mark. 3. Cleaning Do not use acid or corrosive products. For everyday cleaning, use feather dusters or dry fabric. For general cleaning of Terrazzo tiles use klindex Stonesoap. -22-
