Thereof the control of storage tank deformation is the core of the storage tank construction. The control of angular deformation at vertical welds of large scale storage tank wall is critical for assuring the construction quality of the tank. Therefore a series of measures controlling prefabrication quality and welding angular deformation of the tank wall are put forward and the tank construction quality satisfies the code requirement. Welding is an effect of high temperature for an instant accompanied by the metallurgical complex process of physical change and chemical reaction. Due to its having a certain degree of hardenability if welding construction measures taken are not proper the diffusible hydrogen and stress will cause weld cracks so as to make severe impact on the quality and speed of construction. Through the analyses of weld crack formsbase metal materials construction technology and welding on-site environment the causes of the cracks are found. By taking the preventive measures (such as preheating prior to welding and improving butt quality) and the weld repair guarantee measure welding cracks are effectively controlled. Especially the damage caused by emergency brake operation and the destructive power produced by such dynamic loads are theoretically discussed. The dynamic calculation formulas and dynamic coefficient concept are presented and explained by practical examples. The main technical parameters of the said project are as follows: 10 MPa operating pressure X70 steel pipe material D mm and three kinds of wall thickness i.e mm (approximately 80%) 20.7 mm and 25.4 mm. China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau undertook six bid sections totally km pipeline construction tasks applying the laying method of lowering-in using rolling cradle. It's the first time that CPP construct such large diameter pipeline. This article theoretically analyzes and verifies the elastic bending deformation load distribution for side -booms along the pipeline and negative influence on 3 layer polyethylene coating caused by rollers in lowering-in operation as well as presented multiple deployments utilizing 70 t and 90 t side-booms by studying the actual practice of EWPL project in India which can provide guidance for the D mm pipeline construction. Abstract: In order to achieve separate layer injection and production in Shanglin Oilfield a new layered packing and injecting tool has been developed. The field test of the tool has demonstrated that it ensures the implementation of layered packing and injecting and controls the downhole implementation quality. This paper emphasizes the configuration operational principle design and parameter calculation laboratory testing application and dissemination of the tool. Ltd. Renqiu China) Abstract: The pipes used in the Second West to East Pipeline Project are made of X80 steel and have the diameter of mm. To meet the construction requirements of such pipelines with large diameter and high strength CYW-1422 type vertical hydraulic pipe bender has been researched and developed. This paper introduces the main structure basic operational principle and main technical innovation of the pipe bender and its application in the Second West to East Pipeline Project. It is proven that the pipe bender has a good performance and is able to adapt to complex field construction environments. Key words: pipe bender; structural property; research and development (78) Application of Serial WZP Pipeline Crawlers in Long Distance Transportation Pipeline Construction SHI Yan (Engineering Construction Company of Dagang Oilfield Group Tianjin China)CHEN Jian-ping Abstract: Nondestructive testing (NDT) is a essential working procedure in long distance transmission pipeline construction. According to the features of long distance transmission pipelines such as high operational pressure long distance and large number of welds the crawlers are used for the pipelines with their diameters over 200 mm to carry out X ray inspection by internal pipe circumferential exposal. Thus the inspection for one weld needs one exposal only. Comparing with the inspection method of external double walls transmission exposal it has the advantages of higher operational efficiency and sensitivity therefore to ensure the weld inspection quality.
