1 Product Cod. HIGH RESISTANCE SELF-LEVELING COMPOUND BASED ON POLYURETHANE RESINS IN WATER DISPERSION AND HYDRAULIC BINDERS. Features Fast curing. Excellent wide range chemical resistance. High mechanical characteristics. Resistance to thermal shock, steam and hot water exposure Inhibits bacteria proliferation Smooth slight anti-skid surface. Thickness from 4 to 6 mm. Application temperatures from +5 C to +30 C (substrate) d.p. > 3 C. Operating temperatures from -45 C a +80 C.

2 Application field High chemical and mechanical resistance industrial concrete floor coating. Suitable wherever high end performance is requiring industries such as: Food. Wine, spirit, beer and milk and cheese. Pharmaceutical. Chemical. Specific where general chemical resistance and to solvents are needed. Possibility to have self-leveling or multy-layer systems from 4 to 6 mm thick. Application 3 component compound to be mixed prior to use. Prior to mixing liquid components should be checked for being at temperature included with in the range C. Pour component B into component A, and mix for 1-2 minutes so to homogenize carefully. Add while mixing component C being careful not to heat the mixture by over mixing or mixing at high speed. Then apply. The short pot-life of the compound presumes specific job-site operations organization. Substrates to be treated must be sound and clean and free from debris and dust, with a traction resistance to pull-off tests >1,5 MPa. In case of new substrates these should also be mechanically prepared by rough milling or shot-blasting machines. Cuts 2 cm deep in the concrete must be done in proximity of manhole covers, doors, liquid gathering canals in the floor, for the coating to fit into and anchor and along cove to wall. Other cross cuts will done on surfaces wider (4 x 4m) to provide extra anchoring for the coating. Primers specifically chosen for substrates being highly humid, oil impregnated sealed for avoiding pin-holes, DUROGLASS FU RAPID; DU- ROGLASS P1/1; DUROGLASS P1/2; STARCEMENT 4 R (only liquid parts A+B), one of these primers can be applied and freshly broadcasted with quartz of suitable granulometry. depending on the designed final thickness in order to make a prefect blinding layer.

3 In any case primers should always receive a perfect sand blinding (fully saturated with quartz, not leaving exposed any glossy resin not sprinkled) timing for over-coating with DUROGLASS CRETE can be unlimited. For very humid substrates or ones subjected to back pressure use DU- ROGLASS FU RAPID. Again sprinkle quartz on the fresh primer. Consumption in all case shall be from 0,3 to 0,7 Kg/m 2. PRODUCTS Thickness (mm) Name min Max Type surface 4 6 Self-levelling smooth Self-levelling system. Application of DUROGLASS CRETE will then follow by pouring on the floor and smoothening evenly with a trowel the product and immediately going over the fresh product with a spiked roller as soon as possible in order to remove entrained air. The product should be spread out continuously without stopping other than in correspondence of cut joints. In environments where it is expected that the areas may be subject to thermal shock (eg due to washing with water / steam) is recommended to prepare the surface giving a rough finishing to the substrate and apply the product using the maximum thickness expected with other products from the range such as FM or HT.

4 Muti-layer system. For 5mm Multi Layer you must apply 7 Kg/m 2 of Duroglass Crete LT, broadcasting with quartz, removing excess and apllying Duroglass Crete Top. Multi-layer may have a calibrated grip depending on broadcasting aggregate size 0,1-0-5 / 03-0,8 / 0,7-1,2 mm. Final protection is necessary and is achieved by a final over coating application with DUROGLASS CRETE TOP in 1 or 2 hands by rubber squeegee and roller finishing. For no reason the product should be thinned. After use wash equipment with DILUENTE 6 thinner Job-site conditions. Temperatures, atmospheric, safety and technical conditions should be thoroughly considered and checked before applications start every time and day. Color and batches Different batches should be kept for use where direct color comparison cannot effect final result. Patching works done at a later date, could show color difference and should not be done, avoiding so subsequent problems. Patch works should be done with no other batches than the one to be compared with. Eventually a part of material, batch by batch, should be kept aside for preventive caution. System appearance. Systems change slightly in color after some time. Aggregates included could show slightly after some time and due to very intensive use, not changing though radically the original texture of the floor systems. Cleaning The systems should be cleaned regularly in order to maintain expected performance from the flooring systems in terms of durability, safety, appearance. Generally standard cleaning including typical chemicals use for cleaning frequently floors can be used. Contact Technical Assistance for specific information if in doubt. Small sample testing can be useful. A first thorough cleaning should be done not before 3rd day prior to final intensive use. Maintenance Maintenance issues should be discussed with our Technical Assistance service, giving suggestions and general durability parameters and preventive treatments for giving the expected long-life to the coating systems.
