Technical facilities - production plant We have a production building with the surface area of 800 m2. We also lease a storage building for finished products, with the surface area of 300 m2. Metal insulation covers are manufactured using modern sheet metal machining equipment. A majority of the equipment that we use is made by the German company Schwartmanns. Our machinery includes a sheet metal groovers, punches, rolling mills, and an automated production line for cutting all kinds of shapes from sheet metal. 04

Oferwwwta We also have lines for cutting sheet metal into blanks, a line for rolling sheet metal into smaller reels, a mechanical sheet metal bender, and a hydraulic guillotine for cutting sheet metal. Our workshop also has a set of equipment for production of support structures for sheet metal jackets. We make all kinds of structures for sheet metal components, such as pipelines, tanks, ducts, boilers, and ventilation ducts. Moreover, our design department can prepare a complete design for locations of the structures, in compliance with all the mandatory parameters required at construction sites, such as movement joints, fixed structures for vertical sections, etc. Continuous development In order to be able to improve our services and products, we strive to acquire new equipment for production of some sheet metal components for our production workshop. We work with a company that uses our suggestions to make new equipment or improve the equipment that we already have. This enables us to more effectively use mechanical equipment, which translates into reduced time needed to perform a task and lower costs to the customer. 05

Products of the sheet metal processing workshop The sheet metal processing workshop offers an entire range of solutions for protection of thermal insulation against external agents, in the form of sheet metal insulation covers. Before production for specific projects starts, we select appropriate material considering the aggressiveness of the environment and the customer's requirements. We measure the jackets directly at the construction site at the Customer's facilities or we use materials provided to us. We offer protective jackets made from various types of sheet metal: aluminum, zinc-coated, stainless steel, and acid resistant. The key products manufactured at our sheet metal processing workshop are straight sections, elbows, T-sections, reducing pieces, masking lids, valve and fitting hoods, and sheet metal for tanks. 06

Products manufactured at the sewing workshop Proper mechanical protection of insulation is of key importance for its proper functioning. During its service life, every piece of equipment is exposed to the risk of mechanical damage. However, proper protection of insulation with a protective jacket enables proper functioning of the insulation and elimination of thermal bridges and overheated areas. By using Thermal-Tech's "Therm-Coat" protective jackets to protect insulation on ducts, pipelines, tanks, or valves, you can be sure that the installed insulation performs its function properly. 08

Products manufactured at the sewing workshop Thermal-Tech also specialized in performance of complete orders related to production of thermal insulation mattresses. Mattresses are made at 6 sewing stations in a separate part of the production workshop. Each of the stations is equipped with special machines for heavy duty sewing, with dust exhausts at the sewing stations. In order to improve the work and eliminate any errors occurring during production of mattresses, we have acquired a modern CNC plotter for cutting materials and special equipment for spraying and pouring polyurethane foam. We make all kinds of thermal insulation mattresses: - fire-protection mattresses (which withstand temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Celsius) - acoustic mattresses; - thermal mattresses; - mattresses with a heating cable installed; - flexible curtains: fire-protection, acoustic, and thermal; - splash protection cover of flange connections; - many other products and solutions upon individual orders from customers. The most important characteristics of thermal insulation mattresses: Water-proof properties - modern thermal insulation mattresses are the most durable and proven solutions in locations where there is a high risk of the insulation becoming wet. Flexibility - mattresses can be made to fit any surface; consequently, they are a perfect solution for complicated and highly demanding locations. Durability - mattresses are used many times. Even when frequently removed, the structure of mattresses does not become damaged, which means they can be reused. 09

Products manufactured at the sewing workshop Thermal insulation properties - unlike metal coats, mattresses do not transfer heat because the fabric of which they are made is an insulating material. Our design department uses special software for perfectly selecting the proper layout of mattresses to make sure that their installation and future removal do not cause any problems to our customers. Our experienced team creates professional structural solutions that are cost effective and safe to the environment and the users. We make thermal insulation mattresses from high quality fabric made of fiber glass, silicated, pasted, and covered with aluminum or Teflon. The materials that we use to make mattresses are resistant to high temperatures, mold, water, and chemicals. Depending on the operating conditions of the mattresses and the requests of our customers, the mattresses are filled with felt and mineral wool, ceramic wool, or inorganic wool mats (thermoresistant). 10

Products made at the structural workshop Support structures ensure constant distance between the external surface of the insulation and the surface of the insulated object. They should be used for insulation made of soft fibrous materials and for materials protected with: - a protective jacket made from thin aluminum sheets, if the diameter of the insulation exceeds 279 mm; - a protective coat made from zinc-coated sheet metal, regardless of the external diameter of the insulation. Support structures for insulation are also used on walls of boilers, flue gas ducts, and ventilation ducts. They are also installed on laying and upright spherical tanks and on all nonstandard objects that require insulation. At the Thermal-Tech production facility there is support structure preparation department. Our design office selects the appropriate structure for the specific type of insulation and the piece of equipment to be insulated. Our highly competent production department, on the other hand, prepares the structure with all the necessary materials. The care exercised in preparation of the structure, manifested in use of appropriate insulation spacers, both between the distance pieces and the external rings and between the external rings and the protective jackets, especially ones made of sheet metal, is very important. Insulation support structures should be characterized by appropriate resistance to static and dynamic loads and should limit spot thermal bridges. This is why it is so important to properly select the load-bearing structure for each individual project. Our design office guarantees proper design of the structure in compliance with all the requirements related to installation of thermal insulation. 16 Insulation of steam turbines Turbines and their cooperating elements have curved contours and work at very high temperatures. In order to ensure their durable and effective insulation special techniques must be utilized. Thermal-Tech uses one of the most advanced methods of insulation, namely a dry mix of mineral wool fibers, special cements, and additives, sprayed on using a special pumping and spraying machine. The uniform and continuous sprayed-on layer of insulation material ensures excellent insulation and noise attenuation. The hard mineral jacket, on the other hand, provides additional protection of the insulation against impact and mechanical damage. Also, additional protection of the external coat with dispersive paints prevents oils and other liquids from being absorbed. 14

Insulation of steam turbines Use of spray-on insulation on steam turbines A prevents excessive loss of thermal energy; B minimizes the thermal expansion of the rotor and the cylinder enclosure, thus contributing to an optimized startup time; C protects the operators against burns caused by touching hot surfaces; D minimizes down times during inspections; E reduces the ambient temperature in the turbine house. 15

Insulation of steam turbines Spray-on insulation makes it possible to reach hardly accessible spots in the structure of steam turbines. It is also worth noting that spray-on insulation can be easily combined with insulation pads, because they can be removed without damage to the insulation and reinstalled at inspection spots. 16

Heat-protection and cold-protection insulation Investment in high-quality thermal insulation is one of key ways to reduce costs associated with energy losses. Heat-protection or cold-protection thermal insulation prevent heat/cold losses in systems located at industrial and commercial facilities. Heat-protection/cold-protection insulation is one of the most effective ways to increase the energy efficiency of the system. All factories, large and small, as well as power plants, combined heat and power plants, refineries, and refrigerating plants require special solutions, such as energy-efficient insulation. Thermal-Tech has properly qualified workers, a central workshop with state-of-the-art equipment, and several years of experience in working at various types of facilities. This combination makes our company a good partner on projects involving production and installation of industrial and construction insulation. 18

Heat-protection and cold-protection insulation Thermal-Tech offers designs, delivery of materials, production, installation, and maintenance of insulation for: - pipelines, valves, tanks, and heating and cooling systems; - furnaces, ducts, and filters; - storage and process tanks; - ships: walls, ceilings, exhaust systems, and pipelines; - ventilation ducts; - process equipment. Depending on our customers' requirements, we use high quality insulation materials from renowned producers, including mats, lagging made of mineral, ceramic, and rock wool, lagging made of polyurethane foam, lamellar or unvulcanized rubber mats, aerogel, and foamed polyurethane. 19

Heat-protection and cold-protection insulation Elimination of heat losses is the key reason to use insulation. This is also true in the case of ventilation ducts. Good insulation improves the efficiency of the entire system and leads to savings. Such requirements are largely due to the universal trend to improve the insulation of partitions and to force efficient use of thermal energy. Thermal-Tech performs complete installation of insulation on ventilation ducts, including production and construction of protective jackets from sheet metal on sections located outside of buildings. Fittings and valves (including throttle valves, drains, and separators) are important element of every industrial system as well as systems in buildings. They constitute a part of the systems that is necessary for its operation. Like pipeline systems that require selection and installation of appropriate insulation, valves and fittings, too, must be insulated. However, compared to other parts of systems, insulation installed on valves and fittings must be removable so as to enable access at any time to moving elements and flange connections. Thermal-Tech, as a company that makes and installs complete system insulation, also makes insulation for valves and fittings, starting from the design, through prefabrication of properly selected hoods, to installation. In our central workshop we can make various types of hoods to be installed indoor or outdoor. 20

Acoustic and fire-protection insulation Acoustic insulation The industry and the construction sector utilize a lot of different equipment that generates significant noise, which often exceeds the maximum permitted values. The acoustic insulation made by our company reduce to a minimum the transmission of sound, thus ensuring work safety and comfort. We design and build the following equipment: - sound-proof cabins; - sound-proof enclosures; - noise-protection screens; - sound-proof doors and gates; - industrial absorptive dampers. A well-designed and made sound-absorbing insulation reduces the undesirable noise, and has a positive impact on the environment and especially on persons present at short distances from equipment that produces excessive noise. Sound-proofing of HVAC that transport warm and cold air in buildings is very important. In the long term, noise reduces the acoustic comfort in buildings and has a negative impact on the persons present there. It is important to use insulation products of sound absorption class that fully block sound transmission to the outside. It should be emphasized that noise insulation is even more effective when it is installed on the side of the source of the noise. 22

Acoustic and fire-protection insulation The services that the company offers to its customers include: - comprehensive works related to suppression of hazards resulting from excessive noise; - design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of sound-absorbing and sound-absorbing - insulating structures; - measurements and analyses of onerousness of facilities; - elaboration of methods and concepts for sound-proofing of facilities and equipment; - selection, manufacture, and installation of noise dampers, noise insulation, and anti-vibration mounts; - as-built measurements of the effectiveness of the implemented solutions. 23

Acoustic and fire-protection insulation Fire-protection insulation An important element used in any industry and in the construction sector is fire-protection of systems and structures. Installation systems require particular protection, including direct protection against high temperatures and fire. Fire-protection insulation is also important and required for the purpose of protection of steel structures that carry loads and protect buildings against collapse in the event of a fire. We provide the following services in this area: fire protection of ventilation ducts; fire protection of system penetrations; fire protection of steel and concrete structures; fire protection of cable ducts and penetrations. 24

Acoustic and fire-protection insulation Fire safety of buildings with steel load-bearing structures is so important because, during a fire, steel components quickly reach high temperatures. As a result of such high temperatures, the mechanical properties of steel become degraded. Thermal-Tech makes passive protections for steel structures using several tried and tested methods. A popular product used for fire protection is intumescent paints that swell in elevated temperatures forming a protective coat. Also, we make plasterboard or mineral wood board enclosures that protect steel structures. Thermal-Tech also has the experience and equipment necessary to make spray-on nonreactive coats. Such coats are made using fire-protection materials based on cement and gypsum and containing mineral fibers. The spray-on method is used mostly on steel structure components of complex shapes. 25

Spray application of polyurethane foam Due to its insulation properties, which are due to its internal structure and the application using the spray-on method, which does not result in any joints, polyurethane foam does not cause any condensation of water and is resistant to a broad range of chemical agents. Spray-on foam insulation is a versatile material that is available in different versions of different physical properties and density. Due to its versatile use of polyurethane foam, Thermal-Tech has modern equipment for sprayon application of polyurethane foam made by Graco. So far, we have worked on a large number of various projects where polyurethane foam was used. PHOTO 1 spray-on application of polyurethane foam as insulation in attics and roofs in single-family houses. In total, we have installed insulation on approximately 90,000 square meters of attics and roofs. PHOTO 2 - thermal upgrades of flat roofs in warehouses and industrial and commercial buildings. 26

Spray application of polyurethane foam PHOTO 3 - insulation of pipelines and process equipment in the industry. PHOTO 4 - thermal insulation of tanks. We have installed polyurethane foam insulation on tens of tanks located in breweries, chemical plants, and food industry plants. PHOTO 5 - thermal upgrade of buildings; insulation of foundations in the building sector and in the industry. Polyurethane foam is a perfect insulating and water barrier material. The main advantages of polyurethane are: chemical resistance to most organic solvents; high mechanical strength; negligible absorption of water; neutrality to people; harmlessness to the environment. low weight, it is a good soundproofing. 27

Corrosion-protection painting and sand blasting Protection of steel structures is a very important part of construction of new buildings and of upgrades of existing ones. Steel structures that are not properly protected lose their proper characteristics sooner and pose a threat to people during their utilization. We perform corrosion-protection works on steel elements and structures using the sand blasting method, which consists in cleaning with a jet of compressed air or a liquid containing hard particles. Surfaces prepared using this method is protected with epoxy or polyurethane paints, chlorinated rubber, or alkyd paints. The type of paint used for protection against corrosion depends on the customer's requirements and the environment in which the specific structure is located. We have modern equipment that enables us to paint using the following techniques: - the hydrodynamic technique, which consists in application of paint at high pressure and without the use of compressed air; - the pneumatic technique, which consists in spraying of paint using a jet of air. Thanks to our extensive experience in the area of corrosion protection, our customers receive a product with a long warranty period. The corrosion protection procedure that we follow consists in a general evaluation of the condition of the structure, an evaluation of the condition of the existing coatings and of the corrosion, selection of the corrosion-protection technology, and surface preparation prior to the painting (sand blasting, manual cleaning). The scope of corrosion-protection services offered by Thermal-Tech: 1. Fire protection of steel and wooden structures; 2. Corrosion protection of industrial and building steel structures; 3. Corrosion protection of such objects as tanks, ducts, and pipelines; 4. Corrosion protection of concrete and reinforced concrete structures. 28

We specialized in installation of light cladding: 1.Walls in the following technology: 2.Roofs in the following technology: Installation of light wall cladding Thermal-Tech performs comprehensive services related to installation of industrial wall cladding. Wall sandwich panels are the basic component in many industrial and public structures. Our work is supported by many years of experience, professional skills of specialized designers and installation crews, and possibility to deliver high-quality facade and insulation materials. The structures that we build are characterized by attractive prices, modern design, and high durability. - sandwich panels with wool, Styrofoam, or polyurethane cores; - facade panels; - a coffer, mineral wool, and trapezoidal sheet metal system. - sandwich panels; - trapezoidal sheet metal with thermal insulation from mineral wool or Styrofoam and with water barrier layers. Our company uses special equipment both for transport at the construction site and for installation of wall and roof components of industrial cladding. As early as at the proposal stage, we optimize the installation and the equipment needed for safe and efficient installation of sandwich panel and trapezoidal sheet metal cladding. In order to provide comprehensive services to our customers, we also make roof covers, including installation of trapezoidal sheet metal, thermal insulation, and water barrier, as well as water drainage (gutters). Me make all the necessary flashings by ourselves. This saves time and prevents delays in completion of the work. 29

Thermal upgrades of buildings Thermal upgrades of single-family and commercial buildings consist in making changes that reduce heat loss and ensure more economic and energy-efficient heating of the interior space and the domestic water. The main reason for high energy consumption for heating is excessive heat loss of buildings. Heat most often escapes to the outside of the building through improperly insulated external walls, windows, the roof, the floor on the ground, and ventilation or air conditioning systems. Thermal upgrade is a good idea when reaching and maintaining appropriate indoor temperatures in the heating season leads to high heating costs and when proper heat comfort to the occupants cannot be provided. The situation is similar in the case of indoor air conditioning and high costs of electricity consumed in the summer season. Thermal upgrade may consist in improvement of one or several elements. In order for thermal upgrade to bring the expected results, an energy auditor should be consulted. Our company has appropriate staff with several years of experience in energy audits. Employees of Thermal-Tech use modern equipment that helps them evaluate the energy efficiency of the building. Thermal upgrades of houses also cover their indoor systems and consist, among others, in: upgrading or replacing the heating system; starting to use renewable energy sources for heating purposes, e.g. solar water heaters or heat pumps; using mechanical ventilation with heat recovery; insulating bare central heating pipes and air conditioning ducts; improving the system for preparation of domestic hot water. 30

Trade Due to the fact that we perform projects where materials for thermal insulation, construction materials, and materials for ventilation and air conditioning systems are used, the flow of materials through our company is significant. In order to be able to complete all projects and ensure continuous deliveries to construction sites and eliminate delays due to late deliveries of materials, Thermal-Tech has its own insulation and ventilation materials wholesale warehouse.
