1 StudioA Architecture ADDENDUM NO. 2 Date: 11 October 2013 Re: 327 King Street Exterior Repairs & Interior Renovations Project No. H15-N200-PG From: Whitney Powers To: Bidders/Planholders This Addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Construction Documents, dated 19 August 2013, as noted below. This Addendum consists of two (2) pages, with the revised date of 11 October There are two (2) Attachments to this Addendum. PROJECT MANUAL - SECTION INVITATION FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS 1. Modify the SE-310, Request for Advertisement, with revised bid date, as follows: Bid Closing Date: Monday, October 21, 2 pm Note: The last day for questions associated with this change to the bid date is, Wednesday, October 16, 2 pm. PROJECT MANUAL - TABLE OF CONTENTS 2. Add the following section to the Table of Contents: Acoustical Panel Ceiling SECTION TILE 3.. The attached Specification Section Tile as listed in the Table of Contents should be included in the Project Manual. CLARIFICATION - SECTION QUALITY REQUIREMENTS 4.. Paragraph 1.2.A.1: No specific Affidavit of Qualifications and Experience form has been provided. Further modification to Item 5, Addendum No. 1: Section 1.2 QUALITY CONTROL AND CONTROL OF INSTALLATION, Item A, replace Number 1 with the following 1. Within 24 hours of request by the Owner, submit the names of the Project Manager and Superintendent to be assigned to the project. Provide evidence of their experience with at least two (2) Historic Preservation and Renovation projects of similar scope and scale to this project. Include references with the name of contact person and telephone number for the submitted projects. The experience submittal will assist the Owner in determining the Contractor's responsibility. 6. Further modification to Item 6, Addendum No. 1: Section 1.2 QUALITY CONTROL AND CONTROL OF INSTALLATION, modify Item A, replace Number 3 with the following: 3. Within 10 days after Agreement, submit qualifications for the following subcontractors indicating experience in historic preservation work: SHEET A2.4 - FINISH SCHEDULE 7. See attached revised Finish Schedule for sizes of specified wood base. SHEET E TYPICAL DEVICE MOUNTING HEIGHT 8. The receptacles and telecommunications outlets shown wall mounted in the retail space shall be flush-mounted in the baseboard and not mounted at 18" above the floor. SHEET E LIGHTING SCHEDULE 9. Provide one-hour fire rated enclosure for the ten (10) recessed light fixtures of Type "A" that are installed in the fire rated ceiling. Acceptable manufacturer: SHEET E DETAIL The conduit and conductors between the existing meter and the new panel are shown to be new. The conduit and conductors on the utility side of the meter are to remain as existing. This Addendum supersedes and supplements all portions of the bidding documents with which it conflicts.

Submittals: Product Data for tile and installation materials and Samples for tile. B. Floor Tiles: Static coefficient of friction not less than 0.6, per ASTM C PART 2 - PRODUCTS 2.1 CERAMIC TILE A. Ceramic tile that complies with Standard grade requirements in ANSI A137.1, "Specifications for Ceramic Tile." B. Ceramic Floor Tile: Unglazed, porcelain tile. 1. Products: a. Crossville Ceramics, Color Blox Mosaics. b. Dal-tile, Keystones Colorbody Porcelain. 2. Wearing Surface: Nonabrasive, smooth. 3. Face Dimensions: 3 by 3 inches (203 by 203 mm). 4. Color: As selected in checkerboard pattern. 5. Thickness: 3/8 C. Ceramic Trim Units: Matching characteristics of and coordinated with sizes and coursing of adjoining flat tile. 1. Base Cove: Cove with bullnose top edge, module size matching wall tile. 2. Internal Corners: Cove. 2.2 STONE THRESHOLDS A. Marble thresholds complying with ASTM C 503 fabricated to be not more than 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) above adjoining finished floor surfaces, with transition edges beveled on a slope of no greater than 1:2. 1. Color: Gray. 2.3 INSTALLATION MATERIALS A. Setting and Grouting Materials: Comply with material standards in ANSI's "Specifications for the Installation of Ceramic Tile" that apply to materials and methods indicated. TILING

Grout Type: Polymer modified unless otherwise indicated. 3. Grout Color: As selected. PART 3 - EXECUTION 3.1 INSTALLATION A. Comply with tile installation standards in ANSI's "Specifications for the Installation of Ceramic Tile" that apply to materials and methods indicated. B. Comply with TCA's "Handbook for Ceramic Tile Installation." C. Floor Tile Installation Method(s): 1. Over Wood Subfloors: TCA F144 (thin-set mortar bonded to cementitious backer units on wood). D. Lay tile in grid pattern, unless otherwise indicated. Align joints where adjoining tiles on floor, base, walls, and trim are the same size. E. Perform cutting and drilling of tile without marring visible surfaces. Carefully grind cut edges of tile abutting trim, finish, or built-in items for straight aligned joints. Fit tile closely to electrical outlets, piping, fixtures, and other penetrations so plates, collars, or covers overlap tile. END OF SECTION TILING
