1 Product Data Sheet Product Data Sheet Edition Urethane Wood Flooring Adhesive Description Features Urethane Wood Flooring Adhesive is a low solvent, low V.O.C, one component, moisture curing polyurethane adhesive. This product is designed for easy trowel-on application over concrete or wood substrates to install materials such as solid hardwood planks, engineered flooring and some parquet flooring. Product has superior non-slump capability. This gives it excellent shrink resistance and allows it to provide consistent contact between the wood flooring and the substrate, during and after installation. Low Solvent / Low V.O.C / Low Odor Minimal shrinking and non-slump for superior contact Trowels easily, yet offers good wet, green grab High bond strength. Superior elasticity gives quiet, more cushioned walking over installed flooring. Application variety: flooring may be applied using the wet lay or walk-on method. Surface Preparation Surfaces should be dry, free of dirt, loose particles, paint overspray, oil, wax, grease or any other substance, which may affect adhesion. The floor level must not vary beyond 3/16 th of an inch per 10 feet. If some materials prove hard to remove during preparation, surface abrasion such as sandblasting or some similar method is recommended. A Calcium Chloride test must be performed. (Using an anhydrous calcium chloride test kit according to ASTM F-1869 test method), and up to 82% RH (tested in accordance with ASTM F-2170). Products Limitations and Directives This adhesive is not a moisture barrier by itself. Do not use on wet, frozen, friable or contaminated surfaces. Do not add water to this adhesive in the pail. Do not mix this adhesive.
