24 Stretch Code The Stretch Code' is an optional appendix to the Massachusetts building energy code that allows cities and towns to choose a more energy- efficient option. Stretch Energy Code was added to the building code on July 24, 2009 Every 6 months new cities and town are adopting it. 24
