4 STEELWORKS Baltic Construction is ready to offer you an integrated approach in building and construction made of steel structures, starting from design and finishing with production and installation of building steel structures and other steelwork. In this respect we shall ensure producing steel structures both according to technical drawings provided by customers and according to technical drawings prepared by our design department employees. We have own production of steel structures, equipped with all the necessary, including following services: Construction welding Surface shot blasting Plasma cutting Hole drilling Rolling Galvanization Powder painting The whole cycle of work necessary for passing an object to key ready shall be processed on your request: Assembly of metal structures of building framing; Assembly of technological equipment; Erection of fencing structures; Work on arrangement of engineering networks and equipment and many others. The whole work shall be performed properly contacting a customer. Practically at any stage of fulfillment of steel structure production order, we shall review and make changes in a project, with the least loss and production costs. When producing and assembling metal structures, we ensure stage-by-stage supervision of all work that provides high-quality and fast execution of your order. Company is holding manufacturing practices and procedures to the highest standards and provides full services in metal-working: Waterjet cutting 2000mm x 4000mm Lathe works in 3000mm length and 720mm diam. Milling works 1200mm x 400mm Grinding surfaces Company s production covers wide spectrum of usable materials: steel, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, alloys of non-ferrous metals. 7 SHIP BUILDING Company AVV Baltic Service together with our partners, is working at shipbuilding segment, Baltic Construction performs projecting and elaboration of the required classification documentation and manufacture of any floating object, upon customers request. 8 ASSEMBLY/MAINTENANCE/REPAIR Our company carries out professional assembly and disassembly of industrial equipment, manufacturing lines, machines and units of any complexity. As well as qualified maintenance, recovery and repair works for Metallurgical, Hydro power, Cement, Paper and other industrial plants. Our company has broad experience in performing the following types of work: Repair, restoration, modernization and reconditioning of bridge, portal and gantry cranes of any lifting capacity and with any width of crane span and length of crane bridge; Manufacturing of parts, assembly units, mechanisms, equipment, steel structures, including the critical ones, as well as repair and restoration and assembly of any of the above mentioned items of any plants and production facilities; Preventive repair of metallurgical and other plant units; Preparation work for major overhaul repairs and participation in the major overhaul repairs of all metallurgical and mechanical assembly- and plant units; Manufacturing of fencing elements and installation of fences and guards of any complexity; For the needs of your production we can fabricate and repair various parts, assembly units, mechanisms and load-gripping devices, as well as elements of steel structures, including: fingers axis shafts gear wheels and cog wheels frames of drives blocks/pulleys crane and trolley wheels with diameter mm gearbox housings and gearboxes as a set steel structures for crane trolleys and all relating mechanisms grabs of different design with capacity m3 cargo-lifting beams with lifting capacity up to 160 t and others. We have completed a lot of job assignments during the last 10 years, including the following: 7 heavy-duty traveling bridge cranes have been repaired with the span width from 33m till 24m and lifting capacity from 20t till 10t, comprising replacement of axlebox parts of the end beams with the restoration of the correct geometry; Repair of the scraper conveyor of the concrete mixing station - fabrication of new parts of the support-swiveling device (bearing) with diameter 1500mm; Work-out of a project, fabrication of pilot units, testing in operation, putting into serial fabrication of the own-design rollers for the withdrawal-straightening unit of company STG s continuous casting machine; Dismantling of press-shear CPN-400 in Jelgava town, its transportation to Liepaja, repairing, assembling and start-up in the Scrap-Preparation shop;
