12 Void Water Removal LLWR Ltd investigation identified water in the Mag 10 Void to an average depth of 150mm (approx 11m 3 ) NSG S&T team have extensive experience in wet waste retrieval including a number of industry experts Preliminary BAT study completed at Tender stage to review options for retrieval and processing

13 Dry Void Recovery BAT study completed for work sequencing and void recovery strategy BAT identified concrete cutting as the preferred technique to systematically remove storage room floor in individual sections Controlled removal Efficient waste sentencing

14 Void Decontamination Void access possible following storage room floor removal Manual decontamination techniques Spongejet decontamination system proposed to increase decontamination efficiency underpinned through trials
