2 About Art s Way Company History Iowa farmer Arthur Luscombe founded Art's Way Manufacturing in 1956, to produce and sell a PTO powered grinder mixer he developed on his farm near Dolliver, Iowa. His first product was a great success that marked the beginning of his amazing career as an inventor and entrepreneur. In 1959, Luscombe moved the company from his original plant in downtown Armstrong to its present location, and the grinder mixer line was expanded to include OEM work for companies such as Massey Ferguson, Owatonna and Case or as it was known then, International Harvester. Today, Art's Way has approximately 200 employees and operates its 3 business units in multiple facilities across Iowa and more recently South Dakota. Arthur Luscombe's dedication to innovation, quality and durability remains the central focus of our products and business practices. In 2002, Art s Way diversifies its business by creating the new Art s Way Scientific division in Monona, Iowa. This division manufactures modular agricultural buildings and modular laboratories for research. Over the past 20 years, this division has put nearly 2,000 agricultural units into operation

27 We Stand Behind Our Products WARRANTY Art s-way Scientific warrants to the Owner that materials and equipment furnished under the Contract will be of good quality and new, unless otherwise required or permitted by the Contract Documents, that the Work will be free from defects not inherent in the quality required or permitted, and that the Work will conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents. Work not conforming to these requirements, including substitutions not properly approved or authorized, may be considered defective. Art s-way Scientific warranty excludes remedy for damage or defect caused by abuse or modifications not executed by Art s-way Scientific, improper or insufficient maintenance, improper operation, or normal wear and tear and normal usage. If, within one (1) year after the date of Final Acceptance, or the date of Beneficial Occupancy, if the Owner occupies the facility prior to Final Acceptance and any of the Work is found to not be in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents, Art s-way Scientific shall correct it promptly after receipt of a written notice from the Owner to do so unless the Owner has previously given Art s-way Scientific a written acceptance of such condition. All materials and equipment not manufactured by Art s-way Scientific will carry the manufacturer s standard warranty. All such warranty documents are provided with the Final Project Submittals at the completion of installation. Using a combination of locally sourced trades and our own installers, the building is installed, seamed and sealed, then finish work completed.
