S/S & associated link lines (33/11KV) ( 2 ) Up-gradation of existing Pri. S/S ( 3) Construction of new 33 KV & 11 KV lines, DT S/S, ( 4 ) Augmentation of existing 33 & 11 KV lines, ( 5 ) Replacement of LT line with AB Conductor to be executed for the package(s) i.e 1,4,5,6,7,8,10,14,16,17,18,19 & 22 under CAPEX Programme of CESU. 3 TECHNICAL PART Common for all packages 1. Notes below BoQ: Special notes given at the end of each BOQ which is either not clear or squeezed in the web site stands same for all activities. 2. Steel materials : All steel materials must be galvanised except the Base Plate for PSC pole, reinforced rods, bars for RCC and base cleats for Joist poles 3. Dimensions of base plate for PSC poles: This may be read as 500*500*10mm in place of 0.5*0.5*10mm 4. 0 Quantity shown agaist Item Headings: This may be ignored. Itemswise Qty stands 5. Rates against 0 quantity of items: No rates to be quoted 6. Yellow Painting for pole numbering : 300mm in stead of 300cm in the item &ASIN paints to be read as ASIAN paint. 7. Repairing of Damaged Joist: Excavation details be read as 1*1*0.75 mtr in place of 1*1*0.75mm and casting dimnsions be read as 0.45*0.45*1.25 mtr in place of 0.45*0.45* Fixing of Guarding Insulators: This line be deleted from Stringing of all types of lines. 9. LA for DT: This may beconsidered as 9kV, 5KA in place of 12 kv,10 KA bolted P.G.Clamp for ABC :- This may be considered as Neutral Connector suitable for (35mm2 to 70mm2) AAAC. 11. For All activites 1) P.G. Clamps to be used is of (M-12)- 3 Bolted type for 55 sq. Mm conductors and for other sizes of conductors (M-16)- 3 Bolted type. 2) H/W Fittings- For 55 mm2 AAAC is of 3 Bolted type & all sizes for 80 mm2 and above, it is of 4 Bolted type. 3) Erection of Poles (Joist/PSC) is inclussive of all other fittings like V Cross Arm, Top Bracket etc. 12. Unit of stay set : This is to be taken as set both in supply and erection 13. Unit of 2 tier cable trays in s/s : To be considered in MT 14. New Primary S/S, Control room Furnitures Digital clamp on metal be read as Digital Clamp on Meter & unit be taken as 'No' instead of 'Pair'. 15.Stringing and Dismantling of conductor : The unit is to be taken as Ckt-Km in all activities. 16.For Water supply system in New Primary S/S : The rating of pump is to be considered as 1HP. 17.Guarding Span: Approx. guarding span length between 30 mtrs. to 50 mtrs. 3

Vol-II-Cl 2.0 page 53/334 Sub station Structures All the galvanized substation structures, as per the requirement will be issued from the nearest CESU stores. Above line to be deleted and added as Scope covers the supply of galvanized sub-station structures as per the drawing. Scope also include the testing of steel sections before despatch from steel manufacturer's works and galvanization tests at the fabrication yard of the supplier.
