Flexural Strength: A1 A2 A3 RAMTECH LABORATORIES The purpose of this test was to establish the Type and Grade of the client s Fiber-Cement product identified under the product name Plycem as prescribed in ASTM C-1186: Procedure: A2.1 This test was conducted in general accordance with ASTM C-1185 (Section 5) with the specimens prepared in both the Machine and Cross directions and tested in both the Wet and Equilibrium condition. A2.2 The average flexural strength was determined as the arithmetic mean value obtained from the Machine and Cross directions. A2.3 The ratio of the Wet to Equilibrium condition was taken from the mean values as described in A2.2 above. 6 B Density: B1 B2 RAMTECH LABORATORIES General Procedure: B1.1 The Density was conducted on test specimens measuring approximately 6 inches wide and 12 inches long cut from six (6) full panels as describes in Section 2 of this report. B1.2 Ramtech prepared these cut specimens and tested in general accordance with ASTM C1185 with the volume of the test specimen determined by the Water Displacement Method after a 2 hour boil as described in Note 5 of the standard. B1.3 The mass of the test specimen was determine by drying out the specimens in an oven at 194 +/- 4 degrees F until the difference between two consecutive weighing (at intervals not less than two hours) was less than 0.1% by mass. Moisture Movement: E D1 D2 General Procedure: D1.1 The Moisture Movement test was conducted on the product in general accordance with ASTM C-1186 (Section S2) where the linear variation with change in moisture content was based on a relative humidity change from 30 to 90% as outlined in ASTM C-1185 Reporting requirements of ASTM C-1185: D1.1 The linear change in moisture content as a percentage change in length based on the length at relative humidity change of 30 to 90 was calculated as follows: Linear change, % = [(L) at 90% - (L) at 30% X 100] [(L) at 30%] Where: L = Length Dimensional Stability: E1 E2 Sample ID Delta (L) 30 to 90% (Inches) Delta (%) 1 MD % 2 CD % General Procedure: E1.1 In general accordance with PS-2, ten (10) test specimens prepared in both the Machine (MD) and Cross (CD) directions were pre-conditioned with oven-drying (Procedure A) until Constant-Weight at 217 F for 24 hours E1.2 After pre-conditioning, Ramtech followed the procedure as described in PS-2 (Section 7.8)and outlined below: E1.2.1 Specimens placed into a Flattening-Jig to remove distortions E1.2.2 Specimens measured to the nearest mm E1.2.3 Specimens placed into a pressure chamber E1.2.4 Pressure chamber flooded with water E1.2.5 Pressure chamber subjected to a Vacuum of 91 kpa for one (1) hour E1.2.6 Pressure chamber then subjected to a Pressure of 690 kpa for two (2) hours E1.2.7 Specimens removed from chamber and measured to the nearest mm Results: E2.1 The Average Dimensional Stability as a percentage change in length based on the length at Oven- Dry to Saturated was calculated as follows: (See Appendix Linear change (Delta), % = (Lw) - (Ld) x 100 (Ld) Sample ID Delta (%) 1 MD 0.21% 2 CD 0.24% Where: Lw = Length Wet & Ld = Length Dry Page 7 of 100

8 F Moisture Content: F1 F2 RAMTECH LABORATORIES General Procedure: F1.1 The Moisture Content test was conducted on the product in general accordance with ASTM C-1186 (Section S4) where the product was conditioned at 50 +/- 5% relative humidity and a temperature of 73 +/- 4 degrees F. Water Tightness: G1 G2 M = 100 [(W - F)/F] Mass (F) ID (grams) (grams) Average 5.4 Moisture Content (M) (%) G1.1 The Water Tightness test was conducted on the product in general accordance with ASTM C-1186 (Section S5) where the purpose of the test was to determine the serviceability of the product when subjected to a two inch water head for a period of 24 hours. Reporting requirements of ASTM C-1185: G1.2 When the test specimens were examined with the unaided eye after 24 hours of exposure, no formations of drops of water were noted on the underside of the product. H. Warm Water Resistance: H1 H2 H1.1 The Warm-Water Resistance test was conducted on the product in general accordance with ASTM C-1186 (Section S8) where the product was subjected to 56 days of warm water saturated with an excess of lime and maintained at 140 +/- 4 degrees F as described in ASTM C Reporting requirements of ASTM C-1185: H2.1 At the conclusion of the 56 days of warm water exposure, the specimens were examined with the unaided eye with the following observations documented: H2.1.1 Cracks: None H2.1.2 Delamination: None H2.2 With the visual examination completed, Ramtech then saturated the Exposed and Control specimens and proceded to test for Flexural Strength. The results of the flexural strength test were as follows: H2.2.1 Exposed Specimens (F f ) = 551 psi H2.2.2 Control Specimens (F r ) = 656 psi H2.2.3 Ratio R = F f / F r = 84% Page 8 of 100

Surface Burning Characteristics: I1 I2 I1.1 The Surface Burning Characteristic test was conducted on the product in general accordance with ASTM C-1186 (Section S6) where Ramtech Laboratories subcontracted to an ISO Accredited laboratory identified as QAI Laboratories. I1.2 For the purpose of this test report, Ramtech has summarized the results below I1.3 The full test report from QAI Laboratories is available in Appendix 3 of this test report Summary of Results: I2.1 Flame Spread = 0 I2.2 Smoke Density = 0 J Shear Bond: J1 J2 J3 General Procedure: J1.1 In accordance with, Ramtech performed the Shear-Bond Strength on the client s 25mm fiber-cement product using the following mortars & procedures: J1.1.1 Dry-Set Portland Cement Mortar--DSPCM (ANSI 118.1) J1.1.2 Latex-Portland Cement Mortar--LPCM (ANSI 118.4) J1.1.3 Organic Adhesive Type 1 OAT1 (ANSI A136.1) Tiles for : J2.1 The tiles used in this test were dry and clean and complied with the water absorption requirements of 13 to 15 percent when test under ASTM C373 having the following dimensional attributes J2.1.1 Length = 4-1/4 inches J2.1.2 Width = 4-1/4 inches J2.1.3 Thickness = 5/16 inches Procedure: J3.1 The testing was performed in general accordance with the above referenced procedures after seven (7) days of curing as described in J3.2 The water ratio used in the above referenced mortars was prepared in accordance with the manufacturers recommended water to powder ratio J3.3 The mortars were applied with a one-quarter-inch square-notched trowel J3.4 The shear test was performed using a loading rate of 2400 pounds per minute so that the mortar was stressed in shear to failure J4 Results: J2.1 The results of this Shear-Bond are outlined below Mortar ID Indicated Load (lbf) Area (in 2 ) Shear Bond (psi) DSPCM in 2 57 psi LPCM in 2 69 psi OAT in 2 67 psi Page 9 of 100

10 K Nail Head Pull-Thru: K1 K2 K3 K1.1 In accordance with, Ramtech performed the Saturated Nail-Head Pull-Thru Resistance on the Plycem 25 mm product in general accordance with ASTM D-1037 using a roofing nail with a in diameter head and a shank diameter of inches Procedure: K2.1 As outlined in ASTM D-1037, Ramtech performed the Saturated Nail Head Pull-Thru as shown in the photo using a loading speed 0.06 in./min with the nail installed before the specimen was saturated as required in the standard Results: K3.1 The results of this test are presented in the table below No. Pull-Thru (N) Pull-Thru (lbf) Average STDEV L Mold Resistance: L1 L2 L3 L4 L5 General Procedure: L1.1 In accordance with, the Mold Resistance was performed on the Plycem product in general accordance with ASTM G-21 Purpose: L2.1 The purpose of this test was as follows: L2.1.1 Determine the effect of fungi on the properties of the client s product L2.1.2 Ensure the client s product does not serve as a carbon source for the growth of fungi Sample Preparation: L3.1 The inoculation of the test specimens was as follows: L3.1.1 Sufficient nutrient-salts agar was poured into a suitable sterile dish to provide a solidified agar layer from 1/8 to 1/4 inch in depth L3.1.2 After the agar is solidified, the client s product was placed on the surface of the agar L3.1.3 Inoculate the surface of the test specimens with the composite spore suspension with a sterilized atomizer at 16 psi Incubation Conditions: L4.1 The test specimens were covered and incubated for 28 days at 85 F and 85% relative humidity Results: L4.1 To the extent tested, the Visible-Effects of this test showed traces of growth less than 10% and can be rated as less than 1 as defined in ASTM G-21 (Section 9.3) Page 10 of 100

Concentrated Load & Impact Load : M1 M1.1 In accordance with the client s request, Ramtech Laboratories subcontracted the Concentrated Load & Impact Load s to Progressive Engineer Laboratories (See Appendix 2) for the purposed of evaluating a Floor- Ceiling Assembly under the test procedures describes in the ICC Acceptance Criteria (AC-367) and ASTM E- 661 M2 M3 M4 Objective: M2.1 As described in the test procedures, the objective of this testing was to an apply an alternating concentrated static load and impact load on both wet and dry 25 mm thick Plycem product with the intent to demonstrate the products ability to support a concentrated load of 400 lbs after an increasing impact load Concentrated load Procedure: M3.1 A load was applied through a steel disk at an approximate rate of 0.2 inches per minute until the Ultimateload was attained (See Sketch Below) Impact load Procedure: M4.1 A 30 lb leather drop bag was raised at 6-inch intervals (above the impact point) at then released as shown in the sketch below Concentrated Load Impact Load M2 Results: M2.1 The results of the Concentrated Load indicate the Floor-Ceiling Assembly can resist the applied load of 400 lbs as described in the AC-367 before and after the Impact Page 11 of 100

Uniform Load : N1 N1.1 In accordance with the client s request, Ramtech Laboratories subcontracted the Uniform Load to Progressive Engineering Laboratories for the purposed of evaluating the 25mm Plycem Fiber-cement Panels under the ICC-ES Acceptance Criteria AC-367 (See Appendix 1) N2 Objective: N2.1 The objective of this test was to apply a uniformly distributed load in both a wet and dry condition to the 25mm thick Fiber-cement Panels set on a two (2) span frame spaced 24 o.c. 14 P. Non-Combustibility: P1 P2 The Combustibility test was conducted on the product in general accordance with ASTM E-136 where the product was manufactured into cubes that were 1.5 by 1.5 by 2.0. Reporting requirements of ASTM E-136: P2. To the extent tested, the material identified above meets the condition of acceptance as described in ASTM P-136 having the following Combustion Characteristics: P2.1 Weight loss of the specimens less than 50% P2.2 Recorded temperatures (during the test) of the surface and interior thermocouples during the test not exceeding 54 F above the stabilized temperature measured of the furnace P2.3 No flaming from the specimen after the first 30 seconds Page 14 of 100
