8 Rainbow Industry LLC The Workshop (Steel Building with 11 Nos. of gantry cranes 8000 m2 Built up Area) consists of Ground Floor (including three concrete service buildings) and Mezzanine Floor (dining room) with steel staircase access.. The Office building (Concrete Building 1600 m2 Built up Area) consists of two floors with concrete staircases. The External Buildings consists of Service Block (Substation), Pump Room and Guard Room. Boundary wall of concrete panels and steel grills with two entrance gates. Landscaping works consists of green area, interlock walk ways, interlock roads and parking shades. 8

The project is divided into zones wherein Zone 1 and Zone 2 were completed on 31 January 2013 and 30 April 2013 respectively. Zone 3 which consists of additional works and Jetty extension was completed on 30 June

27 ISO Implementation IMS PSBC is certified and implements the Integrated Management System (IMS) which consists of Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008), Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 18001:2007) and Environmental Management System in which PSBC has been successfully audited by Vincotte Middle East. A. Quality Control & Assurance Plan (QMS 9001:2008) PSBC maintains Quality Assurance Plan, which will be implemented for each individual project, the company is handling, covering the aspect of work involved within each project. The QA/QC plans are based on the corporate Manual and adapted to suit each Client s requirements in accordance with contract conditions. This will enable integration within the Company QA Systems and allows for greater control in implementation. QA plans include project organization structure, coordination and operational procedures, with concerned authorities and responsibility scheme for all stages of the project. B. Health & Safety (OH&S MS 18001:2007) All the plans and procedures are regularly monitored and audited, both at the project and corporate levels to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Regular meets of the Quality officers are conducted in the presence of Clients and Consultants in order to review the Quality aspects and to adopt positive views. The Company follows guidelines of its HS & E Policy and implements procedures detailed in this HS&E Manual. During the past years of operations, the Company has gained recognition from Clients and Authorities due to the Company s ability to fulfill its contractual obligations towards its clients as well as the ability to maintain a healthy and safe working environment for its personnel and visitors. C. Environment Management System (EMS-14001:2004) PSBC strictly applies and monitors its Environmental Management System procedure to reduce cost of waste management, savings in consumption of energy and materials, lower distribution costs, improved corporate image among regulators, customers and the public framework for continual improvement of environmental performance. All policies and procedure are maintained to cater the company s efficient system implementation, which at the end improves the company s workplaces for employees, clients, and suppliers. 27

Value Engineering Value Engineering (VE) is a systematic, functional, and creative analysis of a construction requirement to achieve the best functional combination of cost, reliability, and performance, over the life-cycle of products, systems, equipment, facilities, services, and supplies. VE is performed by PSBC team of experienced multi-disciplinary professionals and subject specialists, whose discipline and expertise match that required by the construction project. VE is usually performed by the Design Review A-E. The VE Workshop occurs at the 35% Design Stage or earlier. D. Manpower In general, Prompt Steel is managed and operated by a team of professionals with unique talents from diverse backgrounds. Today PSBC employs over 250 employees in which has earned a remarkable position in the market in a very short time.
